Done! Busy 4 days
One high point was meeting the original TD Anthony Forrest
and getting him to sign my picture
Never saw any other TDs, probably because I went to a lot of panels. Sat (yes sat in a chair in armor) for 2 back to back panels. Skipped the 501st photo - didn't like the location and it always takes way too long. Would have liked to troop with some MEPD though.
Next SW Celebration is July 2016 London for all the European brothers.
Overall fun. Armour is now shipped back home and flying out tomorrow.
-
I'll be in my TD again this morning. Likely not going to the Legion photo though
-
Haven't heard anything. Haven't even seen any other sandies yet, strange
-
Hadn't seen anything compiled together. Was wondering who is going and if there is any specific MEPD events planned (dinner, trooping, pic, etc.)
I'll be there, minus backpack. Shipped armor out today.

Add a chest strap to the two shoulder straps. The chest strap will pull the shoulder straps together and take the weight more off your shoulders.
-
Agree on the shoulder straps. Lengthen them to let the chest armor sit more flush against your chest. Unless you are small in size, then you will most likely have to trim the chest.
-
Ben, great job, well done! Looking forward to seeing it one day. Need any help with the armor give me shout.
-
Congrats!
-
I'll send prayers for you Jay. Rest easy and let your body heal.
-
For all my sandy brothers who are armor experts - found a site called Mytkarmor.com
Recaster? I would think so but I am not the expert on that kind of detail.

Walked "off" the big screen sounds better imo.
Agree

maybe im just miserable but i find it just annoying,
has noboby explained to him about staying in character lol!
Nope, not just you
-
Awesome job.
Can't wait to see the presentation (wish I oculd be there!)
-
Great collection!

Congrats!

Yeah Kersh taught GL, that's how he got the job.Didn't Kershner teach Lucas? Leets hope we don't have time travel a la Star Trek just so they can re-do the films again (shudder)... Don't get me wrong, I liked Star Trek but...
Agreed on ST - basically everything Roddenberry worked on since 1966 went out the door because someone wanted to 'reboot' (make it action packed).
-
Why not choose a new director instead of a 'name brand' director? A SW movie will draw the crowds without a big name attached. Look at ESB - Kershner wasn't a huge name director and he did an outstanding job.
Help promote the MEPD!
