Nice job Trav! Lookin good!

Nice job Marcus! Looks killer!

I would love a test sample I'd wear it with pride and let EVERYONE know where I got it lol
Btw the extra space would be great
You an me both Rick! I'm in for a test! Don't mind being a guinea pig at all! LOL
BTW...I don't see anything that looks like it needs any tweaking. Looks spot on to me. The extra plastic on the sides is a major plus too!
I am however a much bigger fan of ABS. Would you be offering these in ABS or only HIPS?
Need to replace my old FX AB at some point.
-
Looks awesome! Did you pull them in HIPS? Detail looks great!
-
Way to go Ruggero! Excellent job! Attention to detail is outstanding.
-
Very nicely done!

Nice Mike! Now we have to get you to fly out for NY Comic Con in October!!!
-
Great work Rick!
-
Congrats! Gear looks great!

I have used both the Under Armor and Eastbay Compression 2 piece.
For the money, you can't beat the Eastbay set. Just as good as the more expensive Under Armor and no logo to worry about being visible.
They are having a sale right now....2 for $29.99. You can get both pieces for less than one Under Armor.
Here are the links...

Great job Joe!

The end caps that come with the AM kit for the Thermal Detonator are bigger. They are made to fit on the included detonator tube halves that come with the kit.
Like Rick said, you can make your own or you can get a set from Mike at TrooperBay.com that are made to fit on the 2" ABS tubing from Lowes or Home Depot.
The AM control panel can be used on the 2" pipe, although you may need to heat it up slightly with a hair dryer or heat gun and shape it a bit.

TrooperBay.com
Mike has them in both dial configurations.

Looks real good Ed. The pack looks familiar. Looks like one of my older versions.
Should be an easy pass Ed. Maybe use a bit of velcro to hold your knee ammo in place.
Great job!

SE TD Pack....no problem.
-
That's the stuff Jason.

I stack a few #8 washers over the mounting bolt between the lid and the seed tray to help level it a bit and sit straight.
You are right Rick, not an easy part to get. I am always on the lookout and when I see one, I grab it. Ebay is usually your best bet.

THAT is amazing!!!!

Have a great Birthday sir!!!

I found where my confusion with Quartermaster is coming from. I didnt use the Legion boards CRL when I did my TD just the one on here. In the CRL on this site they have the snaps and rivets included on the construction notes right under the 501st section so when I read the 501st needs I assumed that was a requirement. Sorry for the confusion but it is an easy addition to look more accurate anyways.
No harm no foul Phillip. You did the right thing letting her know. It would be more accurate with them of course. Just wanted to let her know the opttions.
Sorry for derailing the thread Colleen! Now back to some MEPD Deployment!!!
-
Actually it says all the stiff I mentioned in the CRL as MEPD deployed requirements.
Check the CRL again Phillip. Scroll down tilli you see the MEPD Requirements. You will notice that the 6 rivets and snap on the Ab/kidney area are NOT necessary for regular MEPD.
Scroll down a bit further and you will see them listed as a "Must Have" under the SWAT requirements.
I would never tell anyone not to do the mods, cause they only add to the accuracy of the armor.
Just trying to provide accurate info so she can make her decision to add it or not.

Looks great Colleen. Some of the stuff Phillip mentioned are necessay for SWAT deployment, but not necessary for regular MEPD Officer Deployment.
The few things you WILL need to do is cut the 4 small 45 degree angles on the corners of your belt.
Will also need a pic of your shoulder straps (need to be elastic or canvas mounted under the armor) and a pic showing the green lense in the bucket.
Try shining a light inside and take a pic.
Backpack is also a must. If you need help with that, either Rick (Dirty Boy) or myself can help with that.
I have build a few for our female members that I was able to slightly scale down for them while still keeping them accurate.
Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
Good Luck!
