Let me say for the record. I don't want any of our members
501st or not gone. That statement was aimed at those
who insist on going off about their right to commit
illegal activity with no concern for the powers that can ruin
their lives. Gino never address's Lucas films legal department.
He always dodges the issue. I am truly amazed!

Resolution: The 501st Legion does not condone, support, or encourage re-casting. It is, however, outside of the scope of this club's mission, charter, authority, jurisdiction, and purview to consume our time and energies as a volunteer organization in efforts to prosecute those who, of their own volition, choose to engage in re-casting.
This makes it very clear that no one is getting banned.
You care nothing about the 501st. You are not a member.
You say a poll will make no difference. I guarantee your wrong.
Let's have a poll right now. Official detachment 501st members only!
That is the position on the main boards. That is why you don't post

to our roots guys. Our loyalty lies with the 501st.

I have to agree with Mike on this. At the end of the day should we even be discussing this? We all know people who have been sued by Lucas Film
for doing exactly the things that are being talked about. Cast from original
or recast the studios attorneys don't care. They will file papers on you and
your opinion will mean nothing in court. Maybe a better stance for the boards
is that we don't allow posting anything that could encourage a law suit.
Share ideas show your work off but sell and discuss casting ect by PM only.
Please guys don't place your neck on a chopping block.

Well we did it guys. Mr Anthony Forrest has been brought into the ranks of the 501st and the MEPD.
I was only there for a few hours but had a great time. Special thanks to Jim Nieciecki of Federation Toys,
the Midwest Garrison and the guys from TheForce.net.
Here are a few photos. I will be making the video available as well.
As soon as the editing is done I will let you guys know.
