Hey Rick...
congrats for another year
-
Ahhh so the Bapty Club is growing in fans. Keep it coming brothers!
Yap...we should to create a Bapty-Club
-
Next step....
The next problem is the magazine of the doopy doos kit...this is not really accurate and I don't like it. But a good friend of me has good resin stuff...But I have to wait for this until it's arrives.
In the meanwhile is this my progress--->>
Ooooh...the chaos
That's it so far....to be continued

Hi Dan,
I'm posting the same info here that I posted in your new thread, for neatness
That E11 does have a cocking handle of sorts - it looks to me like a short slotted screw. Here's a shot zoomed in.
If you look at this photo of what I believe is also a genuine Tunisian E11 you can see a hole has been drilled for a mock "cocking lever" to fit into.
Here are 2 others. The T-track, rail & scope aren't the originals but I believe the "cocking levers" are. The top one looks like a random bit of hardware pushed in the hole & the bottom one looks like a sort section of rod or tube with a screw screwed in, like the Harrison Ford promo photo E11 but a bit longer.
Hope that helps with your question.
Cheers, Andy
Thank you Andy.....for neatness ...this helps me really
Ruggero...if its on amazon I will grab some there mate...big thanks for the offer and help as always my friend!!
best
Jay
You'll like it...for sure
-
Thanks guys...that helps a lot...
The material for the cocking lever I have here...but as I saw the reference pics, I was a bit confused
I'll take as reference the top one of this pic--->>
-
Ola guys...
big question about the tunisian balster...especially of the cocking lever--->>
A big question to the bapty round...Like I said, I build the tunisian blaster like seen in the movie....well, I noticed that the cocking lever isn't mounted at the main body.Look at this pic--->>Is the cocking lever broken off...before the pics were made?!?!?!
-
Maybe Amazon...from there I got it.
-
Lol...the language ^^
Yap...the green stuff is a 2 components modelling clay....I love this stuff
-
Ask Anthony F. ....he was the only one who hold this blaster in his hands... Lol
Ja ne is klar
-
But that sucks, my friend...I want this cocking lever on my blaster ...maybe I think the cocking lever was broken off, before they has made the promo shots...hope so
-
That could be. Green stuff all the wayA big question to the bapty round...Like I said, I build the tunisian blaster like seen in the movie....well, I noticed that the cocking lever isn't mounted at the main body.Look at this pic--->>
Is the cocking lever broken off...before the pics were made?!?!?!

can I ask what filler type you used? Plastic or wood?
many thanks
J
Sry, Jay...but I don't know what do you mean...
The putty?!?
-
Then I'm reassured
-
Thank you for your kind words so far, guys....
But my eyes have seen a detail again, that I don't like...the trigger guard. If I want to build the tunisian blaster like in the movie/ promo shots, then is this detail not really good. For the Propstore...yes. But not for the movie one.
Well, I had removed the trigger guard and I could bend it without cracks. This is the better position--->>
Tomorrow I'll sanding the greenstuff....had I mentioned that I love the stuff ...and then is the grip ready....again
-
and when your done send it to the address i have on file for review lol
Nice joke, boss
Always Great to see another Bapty fan to join the club!!! Congrats and best of success in the build bro
Thank you, dude

Aloha dirty folks...
now I've finally begun with my interpretation of the tunisian E-11 blaster. The kit has pretty long stored in the box....now it was finally time for the build
At first...huge thanks to Felice and Opi Wan for their help, infos, tips and tricks. The 2 are already huge veterans in the assembling of the Bapty's.
After many hours of research and gathering of the reference pictures, it has finally begun
The reference for my blaster was the propstore--->>

....
....or at least this one?!?!--->>

After the cleaning of the parts, bonding, sanding and sculpture ( I love green stuff ) etc...is this the present results--->>
To be continued.....
-
Ok...you want to go with the 'cantina'- version, eh?!?
This one?!?--->>

The filter pack is right, but there is no small pouch on the side...this trooper have two mp40 pouches at the belt and the canvas pouch on the shoulder. The weapon is the DLT-19. But the helmet is another lid ...not the regular Davin helmet.
Or the 'docking bay' version?!?--->>

Oooouuh...that's really bad news. Take your time, Mike...family at first. My condolences to you.
-
Thanks for the link, I do remember your build I have been looking at it for reference for my own build. Great work.
No problem, mate. I'm glad that I could inspire someone with my build.
Btw..nice looking stands
-
Like I ever said....Star Wars and Heavy Metal rocks....for ever
Awesome cover -
Very nice
...and if you are interested in other builds, here's mine DD build--->>
-
Hey Ronny...
at first...welcome to the sandpit
Your blaster looks really good, and nice attention to the details as well
One question to you...are you ready for some improvements to make your blaster better and more accurate?
Here's 2 suggestions--->>
Put your scope rail a bit lower to the main body...I mean your scope rail must be rigidly supported on the rear sight...
look at this pic--->>Replica:
The second suggestion to make your blaster more accurate is the magazine cover plate. Cut the edges a bit--->>
Hope it helps a bit
-
No, sry mate....I've also seen nothing about it. But ask them for a few pics...it would be interesting to see anything about it.
-
Ola dirty guys...
have a good slide into the new year....and stay dirty
Cheers...
