  1. Next step....

    The next problem is the magazine of the doopy doos kit...this is not really accurate and I don't like it. But a good friend of me has good resin stuff...But I have to wait for this until it's arrives.

    In the meanwhile is this my progress--->>

    Ooooh...the chaos :teehee:

  2. Hi Dan,

    I'm posting the same info here that I posted in your new thread, for neatness :)

    That E11 does have a cocking handle of sorts - it looks to me like a short slotted screw. Here's a shot zoomed in.

    TunisianE11shortcockinghandlee_zpsfccf2e

    If you look at this photo of what I believe is also a genuine Tunisian E11 you can see a hole has been drilled for a mock "cocking lever" to fit into.

    Found19thTunisianE11_zpsad4858e4.jpg

    Here are 2 others. The T-track, rail & scope aren't the originals but I believe the "cocking levers" are. The top one looks like a random bit of hardware pushed in the hole & the bottom one looks like a sort section of rod or tube with a screw screwed in, like the Harrison Ford promo photo E11 but a bit longer.

    Hope that helps with your question.

    Cheers, Andy

    Thank you Andy.....for neatness :thumbsup: ...this helps me really :sweat:

    Ruggero...if its on amazon I will grab some there mate...big thanks for the offer and help as always my friend!!

    best

    Jay

    You'll like it...for sure :yes:

  3. Ola guys...

    big question about the tunisian balster...especially of the cocking lever--->>

    A big question to the bapty round...
    Like I said, I build the tunisian blaster like seen in the movie....well, I noticed that the cocking lever isn't mounted at the main body. :ermm:
    Look at this pic--->>

    Is the cocking lever broken off...before the pics were made?!?!?! :blink:

  4. That could be. Green stuff all the way :thumbsup:

  5. Thank you for your kind words so far, guys....

    But my eyes have seen a detail again, that I don't like...the trigger guard. If I want to build the tunisian blaster like in the movie/ promo shots, then is this detail not really good. For the Propstore...yes. But not for the movie one.

    Well, I had removed the trigger guard and I could bend it without cracks. This is the better position--->>

    Tomorrow I'll sanding the greenstuff....had I mentioned that I love the stuff :sweat::teehee: ...and then is the grip ready....again :whistling:

  6. Aloha dirty folks...

    now I've finally begun with my interpretation of the tunisian E-11 blaster. The kit has pretty long stored in the box....now it was finally time for the build :sweat:

    At first...huge thanks to Felice and Opi Wan for their help, infos, tips and tricks. The 2 are already huge veterans in the assembling of the Bapty's.

    After many hours of research and gathering of the reference pictures, it has finally begun

    :popcorn:

    The reference for my blaster was the propstore--->>

    After the cleaning of the parts, bonding, sanding and sculpture ( I love green stuff :sweat: ) etc...is this the present results--->>

  7. Ok...you want to go with the 'cantina'- version, eh?!?

    This one?!?--->>

    http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1128/5159050429_7212465fdb_z.jpg

    The filter pack is right, but there is no small pouch on the side...this trooper have two mp40 pouches at the belt and the canvas pouch on the shoulder. The weapon is the DLT-19. But the helmet is another lid ;) ...not the regular Davin helmet.

    Or the 'docking bay' version?!?--->>

  8. Hey Ronny...

    at first...welcome to the sandpit :salute:

    Your blaster looks really good, and nice attention to the details as well :duim:

    One question to you...are you ready for some improvements to make your blaster better and more accurate?

    Here's 2 suggestions--->>

    Put your scope rail a bit lower to the main body...I mean your scope rail must be rigidly supported on the rear sight...
    look at this pic--->>

    Replica:

    The second suggestion to make your blaster more accurate is the magazine cover plate. Cut the edges a bit--->>
