  1. I was thinking of reading the comics but then I figure that i don't want to know what might be on the horzon. I would like to read 'season 1 & 2' version of the comics to see how it could have been.

I like to be surprised but I also like to research stuff (that'll be my ocd, fracking internet allowing me to find spoilers!!)

there is a new book out 'Rise of the Governor' which gives a back story for a character already introduced in the comic but yet to be introduced in the series, as its now really a spoiler I might read that to keep me going until season 3.

  2. In my view the SE troopers are actually wearing phase 5 armour and are from the special detachment that were sent down from the star destroyer, and they had to get dirtied up real quick to fit in with the local boys.

They also have the new r & d, un-field tested, back-packs instead of the cobbled together on the job packs that the Mos Eisley troopers have put together to help them on sunny Tatooine.

And in case you are wondering, Phase 1 & 2 are epii and epiii respectively, phase 3 is the original TD armour (which hasn't been updated for those posted on the back-water planets), phase 4 armour is the last model stormtrooper armour as worn by the majority of troops (such as those on the death star) and phase 5 armour is the newer armour that is slowly rotated into use between epiv and vi, (hence some of the mis-matched armour as seen in epV). So the SE troopers are privaledged in that they get the new armour first as they are based on Vaders star destroyer?

All of the above is pure speculation. :)

  3. Once there was fire truck burning. Ninjas fled quickly to Tasmania soup-kitchen where another gungan droid worked at. Meanwhile on your local News, four sith lords jumped all out of the pick up truck that went out-of-control and landed on Mos Eisley Cantina's doorstep. Sandtroopers deployed rapidly to the cantina with t-21's and DLT-19's in handy ready to squash rebel scum! In sports, Jabba the hutt calls on Jawa

  5. What about this guys?

I think it might be the back pouch that is mentioned in the listing, we could assume that it was also a reproduction like the mp40 pouches were so the details won't match exactly but the profile seems about right?

Actually I'm now thinking that they used http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Two-ww2-Japanese-type-38-front-ammo-pouch1-1scale-/180535989560?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a08c89538

    but just changed the strapping?
