  1. I think that $35 is a reasonable price. That is for a US shipping right?

I also like the St. Louis County design. Instead of the star we could have our unit number.

  2. I just finished with my Portable Missile Launcher. Well, except for putting black vinyl aroung the tube to protect it so that I do not have to re-paint the tube after every event.

I used PVC tubing, a General Grievous electronic blaster, and a Clone Trooper electonic blaster. I cut apart the two blasters and used them as parts for the launcher. I even used the electronics is the blasters in the tube. When I pull the trigger a light will turn on in the rangefinder of the weapon.

There is two disadvantages to this weapon. One, it is heavy. Is is difficult to hold the launcher with one hand when you have the weapon pointed in horizontaly. I picked up my MG-34 after taking pics of my launcher and it felt like I was picking up a Kenner E-11! Two, the weapon is very long. The launcher is a massive 5' 4" longe. That is 3 inches shorter than my father.

Now when I wear my orange pauldron, field pack, and carry the launcher I look like the Shock Troopers in the Battlefront games.

  3. Boba Fett did not die from falling into the Sarlac Pit. He uses a thermal detonator to blow himself up and out of the Sarlac pit. His armor was blown off and he was near death. Dengar (another bounty hunter) found him and helped him back to health. During this time Slave 1 was impounded. This info is found in book 1 of The bounty Hunter Wars, Star Wars: The Mandalorian Armor. He is also seen (you even have to fight him) in Star War Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (for the PC), which takes place ten years after the Battle of Endor.

But it was still a bad mistake by Fett.

  4. "...don't sweat it too much."

Yea untill there is a lot of blood and the kid is screaming his brains out, or are his brains just running out of the large resin induced hole???

Then look around, if nobody has seen it yet, evacuate the area quickly and blame it on the scarest looking non-trooper around.

If someone has seen you say, "What did you expect? I'm an F'n STORMTROOPER!!"

At least that's what I do when that happens.

That is the funniest thing that I have read all week!

  5. I either hold it with both hands with the barrel at a downward angle toward the ground, hold it veritclaly (with barrel facing up) in one hand, or let it rest over my pauldron, using the gun strap that I have added to my MG-34.

  6. I was putting the second layer of dirt, yes dirt (really authentic weathering!), to my armor and was wondering if it looks good so far? If I need a lighter color I can remove this layer in a no time at all.
