It would be nice to include a tornister in his description. Cause......I just so happen to have one. Here's a pic showing him with a canvas shoulder pouch

$200? for another $180 you can get a brand new ATA HIPS kit. Sounds fishy to me.

Mike those pouches look great!
-
Geesh Juan didnt I read you are 6'8" somewhere? Of course your shins fit a bit tight! My shins turn because of the AM kit it doesnt have dedicated left and right legs.

Just to claify I am not calling anyone anything rude I just came home from a con last weekend and the possiblity or someone walking off with my gear was always there. I say carry thae blaster loud and proud you got a fantastic deal and no one is going to try and take it from you.
-
I think I read about putting a snap in the bottom front of the shin and a snap in the boot top where they overlap. I need to do this with mine too. when I remember to do it. Thanks for the reminder Rick.

I will say this If he sold you a $425 Hyperfirm T-21(which I have one and can verify yours is too) that I think you may have bought a stolen gun. No one in their right mind is going to sell a Hyperfirm for $50. Dont get me wrong that was a great deal but if he had really owned it he would surely have know it's real value. You got the deal of the year for sure.

Yeah bro you have the same build as me "HUSKY"! I have an AM kit too and it will come together to fit you well. As as far as the kidney and butt plate the straps that come with the kit are what I use to hold them together so the have some give and the seam is covered by the belt anyway. I wouldnt cut anything off either piece.
-
Hey Mike I will be posting my Deployment submission this week can you hold 3 of each for me in case they go like crazy?
-
Hey Chris great to see you over here, Thanks for the comments.I really like both of those kits.
Great pictures to boot. I really wanted to make Allcon in Dallas since I am so close but work is such a hinderance.
Oh to be independently wealthy.........

It all depends on where you are in the world and what you want to spend. Here's a link to the faceplate I make if you are in the states if not get one from Graham he is in the UK. Hey Graham!

great news bro glad to hear it.
-
I will post it in a bitHave you got a picture of the JM pouch for reference?
-
I came up with the dims based on the stuff beside it like the tupperware lid and the width of the tube and the canvas belt and the plastic ammo belt section. Rick you have one of the pouches right? the ones from JM.
should be about 4"x6"x1 1/2-2" at the top

I mixed my dye with about 2 gallons of water but I saved alittle of the dye powder and mixed it with about a cup of water so I had a big amount to dip the pouch in to get the black all over and then I used the stronger cup of dye to dab at the bottom of the pouches to get the effect of heavy soiling.
