  1. It didnt come with any paint on it. It was a "B" grade so I guess he didnt do it. I did all the paint and weathering myself. I used Rub-N-Buff on the whole thing. You get the Rub-N-Buff on a brush and then brush most of it off on a rag then lightly go over the high spots. I know he sends out the full price ones fully painted but I guess the discounted ones are left raw. It has a few soft places where you can squeeze it and they heat stamped a "B" on the top of the receiver.

  2. I judged the width not from that pic but from watching the scene in slow-mo and there are only a feww spots where the side is visible and if the belt is 3 1/2" wide then 3" seemed a good number. I did the drawing showing the belt loops as poking up from behind the back but he didnt do them that way. What those things are on the real thing is very hard to tell but they are probably straps. I sent him an email with the changes but as for the rivet I dont think it's too big. I told him the straps needed to stick up from the back and changed the width from 3" to 2"

  3. I set out to have JMLeather recreate all the pouches for me and the unknown box shaped one is done. I used the width of the belt and the pitcher lid to judge the size of it. It may not be the real thing, which remains unknown, but I think he has done a great job. I still dont have any of the pouches he's done for me in hand yet as he's still doing the rest but I should have them next week maybe. Here are some pics to look at.

  4. He knows his way around some leather for sure. He is making the 3 pouch for me and a large Spanish. I sent him pics of Rolfs' pouch collection so I am sure he could replicate any of the other pouches also. I also sent him a pic of the boxy pouch some use a Japanese pouch for.

Also please correct me at the 1st incorrect turn I take cause i am in no way the best informed guy around in fact I dont know diddly but I am just trying to source out some good pouches and I dont want him to make them wrong.

  5. I looked and looked for a leather 4 pocket shoulder pouch with no result so I commissioned a bud to make it for me.

He will now offer these at his site. Check it out this is my pouch. He is great to deal with also. Here is the link to his site and the pouch. http://www.etsy.com/listing/53633712/trooper-costume-leather-pouch-1

He is also making me some other pouches and I'll post pics or a link of them when he sends them to me.

  6. Thanks a ton Rolf. Well guys it sure looks like I have several options. I of course have an E-11(TS9808) so I could use it for most. I am going with pack#3 so I will be able to take pics of several Captains and Sergeants as I have both white and orange pauldrons. Thanks alot for all the help and the fantastic diagram.

  7. I have a white pauldron and leather 4 pocket shoulder pouch, 3 pocket leather hip and a French/Spanish. I want to know does it really matter what pack or blaster I go with. Please give me some advice on choices or weather it matters. i have real hamburger stackers, pudding cups and pitcher lid so I want to use what I have with the most common pack and an MG-34. Will this be alright. Man Building a ROTJ Fett was easier than this! Thanks alot for any help. Woody
