    My WIP pack

    Made a start on my pack this weekend,I'm not happy with the radio face plate so I'll have another go at the mold i made.

    I still need to find a 29.1/2" pipe for the side the one i have is only 24"

    Made the frame from 20mm ducting and connectors from B&Q and some Alu from work

    The Large trays are cat litter trays (still need to add the strips and tape to them).

    Tool bax is a self build

    The wetwipe replacments are hair lotion bottles

    Partridges Syphon

    And i need to glue the 5 shotgun shells (5 bits of 20mm pipe) to the side

    Also need to add the web straps and mag pouch

    Got a TK 4510 decal for the despay window to add once i sort the radio,the small box with flexi hose and my coms (MP3,motorbike rider to pillion amp and speakers)

    Its my first crack at useing web bast pic hosting so it might take time to sort the pics out

    Airsoft stirling

    Ok i was thinking about the old airsoft sterling and the amount of cheepsoft RIFs that are around now...Long story short I've emailed a guy in China explaining how many stormtroopers need a stirling to build an E 11 from... Hes managed to copy most things in the airsoft world so i don't see why he can't do this,Will keep you posted of the outcome.

    This isn't a custom run im trying to do it's a constant suppy im trying to to create so if 500 of us all send an email to ebay banned it may happen

    Ps: Does anyone know where can I find the humbrol 47? I have looked for it at the Home Depot (either in mexico and the states), hobby lobby, micheal's, keymart, wallmart, and several other paint and stationery stores... still no luck.

    Hi all i've searched for a list of dimensions for the Field Backpack but only found kind people offering there kits.

    I'm not after a member who can sort a kit for me just yet as id like to build my own,all i need is a list of dimensions for the radio so i can make a mold and as where at the dimensions thang,All the sizes of bits used would be great to have in one thread pinned so all us pesky noobs can find it

    Looks good to me Bro...The hand plate was one of the first molds I made for my kit,I used MDF to make my mold and didn't get the right curve shape to role over the hand (so i put a mug in the microwave with the the vacformed handplate on top,not to affective but a bit more curve to it now) I like the idea of hot glue though.

    Would melting the glue sticks in a pan make for a smoother finish?

    Had i have known it was a recast before i'd bought it i probable wouldn't have...But i aint canning 2 helmets in a month (got a clone lid that turned out to be mor of a clown lid)

    i would say it looks like a recast battle spec lid like what ebay seller ( imperialarmour ) sells to go with his recast fx armour :rolleyes:

    Any good for a STARTER lid then?

    I was under the impression FX had dropped the idea of redoing their lid because the MR bucket now so cheap and accesible :unsure:

    Right i've no idea what helmet it is then...will try and get some pics and we can go from there.

    Hi all Just starting to get my kit together (now i've got a job for another year) And the lid is gonna be the start point,so my question is with regards to the new style FX lid.

    Are they any good or i pile of poo and are the new ones MEPD legal :) as i see the older ons are a big no go.
