  1. This is indeed a vicious cycle and the ones who are harmed are the kids. You need a License to Drive,a permit for a firearm but anyone can be a Parent.Rolf, this woman is her own worst enemy.Your Beautiful son is very lucky to have a Awesome Dad like you.You are a great advocate for him and this will mold him into a great person like you.Time will heal these wounds and you do not have to go threw this alone, because you have your son. Peace,Dave

  2. There was so much going on that day, which I guess is what made it such a great event. I'll definitely seek you out at the next event. It would be great if this became an annual thing. :)

My feelings too. I got in late due to the weather and picking a couple of people up for the ride.I probably ate and trooped-I did get to met Dan,my new Garrison Bro.
  3. WOW! all this over a patch! I agree with John and echo his sentiments that my comments also come across as being typed and thought with respect towards my MEPD brothers and sisters. When I got involved with the Legion and set my sights on "Deployment" I thought "Deployment" was IT. Sandtrooper Nirvana.THE BIG GOAL.You get it- and now we have "SWAT".I posted a while ago when this was in its infancy that I did not want to be like 200 other troopers and have a orange pauldron and a raised brow. It's just not for me-I like my look.At the Intrepid there were TD's of all pauldron colors and you (I could) tell us apart.I heard more than a few times from parents-"Son,you didn't get your picture with this one,the one with the scar on his helmet...",etc.I offer this though-to be really, really screen accurate wouldn't we want our prototypical Sandie Tall with a Slim build? This would of course disqualify myself because I am around 5'9" with a slight gut.I also feel that this fuels the "caste system" created by the "Armor Divas".You know those guys-their stuff is obviously better than yours. When I became "Deployed" I would cringe when I saw some guys getting nitpicked on a little too harshly and would send them a PM to say hang in there. Can "Elite" or "Ultra" SWAT be far behind? Above all, this is a Club centered around a imaginary world that we do for fun and most importantly making people smile and when we take it too serious-NO FUN.

  4. I came about this close (fingers 1/2 inch apart) to getting a Cushmann T-21.Skutch and a few other guys told me Hyperfirm is the way to go and they are the best. Sorry to hear about the problems you guys have been having with Cushmann, it will help other guys to stay away from them-like the advice I got.

  5. You are correct sir. I actually spoke with Rick about heading up this project a month ago and he said thumbs up, run with it. I felt like it would be better for me to make deployment first so I held off until that happened. I'm just trying to see how the group feels about the suggestions I've presented so far. Do you have a preference Dave?

Whatever yourself and Gordon likes is good with me!
