Headache day #2. Maybe cause every waking moment for the past day and a half have been in front of a TV. ah well, watching The Two Towers at home with my mom.

Watching Fright Night (2011), then off to sleep so I can get my McMuffin early in the morning at the brand new McDs down the way.

I've never been so motivated to pay bills. So there will be no purchasing of Christmas presents this year. If you're lucky enough to receive a gift from me you'll get it on my birthday (Jan 4). There's better deals after Christmas/New Years anyways

I'm determined to finish this novel, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, before I see the US movie version. I started reading it a year ago but decided to re read it from the beginning last week. The book will always be better but I trust David Fincher's interpretation.

I hate the Lakers a little less now. See yah later Gasol! I couldn't stand him.

I can't wait for next week's season finale of Dexter.

I wish my cellphone was charged up today while I'm at work. Otherwise I would have been notified in advance that my mom and my aunts were stopping by to borrow my house key. "Hi, I'm Daniel's mom!"

Just finished reading my copy of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Now I'm Netflixing the Swedish movie version. I guess I'll could start reading my copy of The Hunger Games that's been sitting on my shelf the past year.

Finally I'm home. Time to watch how this season of Dexter ended.

I hope they have plenty of candle sticks at the stadium or else this game is never gonna start. Get it? "Candle stick"!! hahaha #lightsout

I liked David Fincher's interpretation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I love the films he has made (Social Network, Se7en, Fight Club). This version had a little bit more violence than the Swedish version. Both interpretations are equally good. US version has a slight advantage because I find subtitles too distracting. Mara Rooney was a good Lisbeth, I like her look more than the Swedish one.

Dude I got a headache. Just got back home from Christmas shopping. The last gifts can wait till tonight or maybe tomorrow morning. Best thing about shopping is bumping into friends.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocal was action packed. I would have enjoyed the movie more if I hadn't drank so much before the movie. Oh, I sat there the whole movie Robin Thicke is a lucky man to have Paula Patton as his lady.

I was supposed to leave work an hour ago. That's ok though. Not like I'm doing anything stressful; just making sure end of the year processes are running ok. That just means I'm gonna leave early next week on my birthday.

"Do u know the way to San Jose?" Cassandra knows, that's why she's driving us there.

I'm enjoying this wonderful weather today. Best weather of the year so far! I'm wearing shorts.

THank you so much to all my family and friends for the birthday greetings. I was excited for today that I woke up at 5am. I left work early to go home and see my dad before he went to work. Went to Lodi to visit my friends and buy comic books. Now I've returned home after sharing a wonderful dinner of Thai food with my sisters (Nowell Dela Cruz & Melissa Quinto), Joel Quinto, my momma and aunts.

Well that's it, the 1st full week of 2012 is gone. I hope everyone had a good one. I'm thankful for being blessed with another year of life and having spent it surrounded by an awesome group of family and friends. This was one of the best birthday weeks I've had in awhile. Visiting San Francisco, Thai food, bowling & dancing! And this is just the beginning!
