I'm orig from south florida, was in the ES. Started getting my info transferred over the weekend. I now officially live in Delaware.

I don't plan on it, the time I spent trooping from 2006 to 2008 was awesome, making kids smile made spending all this money worth it haha.

Hey all, I figured since I am getting around to working on my armor I should post my progress pics. I joined the 501st back in 2006 when I turned 18 as a TK, and always wanted to be a TD. Well slowly I gathered up the gear and dirtied up my armor. I was on the way to fully convert my TK to TD when I enlisted, but being a cargo crew chief took a lot of my time. Fast forward 5 years and I am sitting at Disney with my wife and 1 year old daughter. After riding star tours twice, I caught the 501st bug again. So here are some pics of my armor so far. I do have a list of some mods and some repairs I have to accomplish. But then main one is that I have to change out my AB and Knee Plate.

I guess I am not "new" but rather coming back from a long Hiatus. My name is Justin, I was in the ES down in FL before I enlisted in the U.S.A.F. but kinda fell off the Star Wars wagon for the past 5 years. I now have brought my armor up to where I am stationed in Delaware (Garrison Carida) and looking to getting back into trooping, after I upgrade my armor and fully convert it to TD and get pulled off the Inactive list for the 501st. Its nice to see how the M.E.P.D. has grown since I last looked at the site 5 years ago. It is great to be back!!

The last pic was actually upside down when I took it lol so I reversed it.

I dirtied up my armor the other day and had to wait for my digital camera to come home. Here are some pics of it. I know the AB plate and knee are not right. I will fix that when I finish buying everything for my Boba Fett. And I noticed the helmet looks light in the pics, mostly cayse of the flash. In person it is darker. But I will throw another layer of dust (paint and water mixed) on it.
-
I was wondering if it was, I was in such a hurry that I put it on upside down lol Luckily enough it is connected by velcro lol
-
I thought I would show off my Pack I received from TD-8733. The pack is awesome! Its light, and looks really nice. Sadly I dont have any pics of it with my armor, since I am going to be weathering that after my first day of class tmrw, I get to start up classes again tmrw lol So for now all I can show is a pick of the pack I received.

Dude thats cool I would love to get my hands on something that was used in the movies.

I have the industrail velcro inside my thigh armor works wonderful especially in parades like at Star Wars Weekends.

Is this the same sandtrooper? I think that one was a early model.
-
wow they look awesome man, you should do what everyone is saying and make extras and sell them.
-
I found that dengar carries it but other than that I dont think any of the sandtroopers carried it cause a 42 probally costs much more than a 34.

O yeah I forgot that I remember readin that on the forum, well hopefully next year ill be troopin with u
-
Hey at least your going to be vader and not like the emperor. Well I hope I get to troop with you sometime, maybe next year for SWW when my TD will be complete and maybe your vader?
-
the ones you got there are swedish mp 38/40 post-war pouches.
(try to sell the small metal part shown in the small pouch on ebay! these are gun loaders and are also recommended by ww2 enthusiast!)
these are really the best nowadays you can get below 400 USD.
the leather 3+1 pouch with the pouch attached to the front are very hard to find and go mostly for more than 400 USD.they were used by the german "fallschirmspringer" or the "luftwaffe".
the only pouch better than these is the original "STOLLA WIEN" pouch.
they are only 3 pocket pouches and also hard to find... i have one of these on my belt!
maybe i will have the chance to get my hands on one of these within the next few weeks.
i will sell it in the "For Sale Or Trade" area then... so stay tuned!
Do you mean the Fallschirmjager? when you mean Fallschirmspringer? I never heard of Fallschirmspringer before.
-
Yeah i noticed it I found that on imperial props .com or something like that. I just like it cause he is kinda leaning lol.
-
If you take away the BFG as a requirement, I mean it is a lil hard to do when your building abilites suck, like mine. But youll get guys like this guy right here
drop boxes still on, no sniper knee plate, just a bfg really and I think a backpack? I cant remember, it was at star wars weekends and yes thats me the guy in the black hat.
Actually he doesnt have a back pack just pauldron, ammo pouch and a BFG and is dirty
-
sweet man I like the scout trooper caption lol
-
I was talkin to my mom and she said before u buy military gear, like reenacting and stuff talk to your uncle he gets discounts on all of that stuff so im going to give my uncle a call about these and see if I can get them for cheaper.

I picked one of these up at disney for 26 bucks when I was on leave a couple of weeks ago. They had 2 TD and a ton of Lukes.
