  1. I havent been on Proptopia for a while, so most of these were in the last year or two. He has his haters, and his...not exactly supporters who didn't screwed by him but eventually got their stuff.

I must have missed when you guys first started this project or else I would have said something to you about him. The people who do get their stuff, like it, but you just don't know if you'll ever see it. I've never done business with him, but just have heard all the stories.

I will post some of the comments about him and if need be mods, please delete if I'm breaking some rule.

I've always made sure he's had a good press. I never had any problem with the guy and when I did he bent over backward to make it right but now, I have to admit when I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

    The guy is a *****.

He's diddled me out of $1,000 and is showing NO sign of making it right. No response to emails, lies, excuses, no more.

If anyone ever thinks of dealing with him, don't. If anyone ever wants a favor from him, don't ask. If anyone ever wants to do him a favor, by all means! He'll gladly accept!

Bottom line, I always backed his corner and he's just pinned me into the very same corner and stabbed me in the back. I'll never trust him again nor defend him when he's bad mouthed.

I have always heard more bad than good..so I had decided long ago not to deal with him.

would never go to him for anything costing more than $20.

That being said.. he has always shipped out my stuff super fast. Same day.. and whatnot. I have always thought it was just because of me running the prop archive.

He has problems with shipping out orders. More from the big ticket items like suits which require more time. It seems like he takes orders.. puts them off for a month. Says they got shipped out.. then says they got lost in the mail (I have never lost something in the mail).. and then says he will ship out another for free.. of course.. if you get it then or not.. cannot be known.

Yeah, um,... I'll admit his stuff is really good quality but the ship time lags every time. I've had to e-mail him bi-monthly for up to 2 months until he finally sent me patches that he told me ( right from the start ) he already had in stock.

    1) Open envelope

    2) Insert patches

    3) Write address, put on stamp, mail.

Doesn't seem hard. I've made about 6 purchases with him only because I couldn't find anyone else who sold the specific patches I needed, but dammit... It shouldn't take that long. ...and God forbid that you question him, you get a brief dissertation about his life's problems and hardships. We're not talking a one-time thing, either. I get this at least 50% of the time I do business with him. He had no problem taking my money, but shipping stuff out in a timely manner? Oh go yourself, he doesn't care.

After much board lurking, I went with Katarra8's patches instead. I'm pretty much happy with them anyway, even though his no-ghost seems to have a crisper detail. Katarra's name patches however are faultess in my humble newbie opinion.

About 4 months I think about to buy some patches from him... But a lot of people told me, that the delivery time can be very long...

And thats it. I order from Kathy Pilsbury again, Im happy and no problems with the shipping or the patches or whatever...

Maybe Mr. Kerezman got the best patches, but not the best service...

Oh and btw, Joe USED to be connected to Katarra- (Katarra Kreations) and I think they went under a different name before that, maybe JK2 costumes? They used to be one of the biggest costume makers in the early days of the hobby. I might still have one of their catalogs, they made a LOT of cool and nice stuff. Their biggest problem and what I think lead to their MAJOR downfall was the time it was taking people to get their orders. One guy on the prop board had been waiting like 2 years for a Boba Fett jumpsuit that they quoted 4 months or something like that. People were turning them in for postal fraud and such. And I think there were some other internal problems, and a C&D in there too from LFL, but I might be wrong on that. I just remember one day they were there and then gone...

I think Brent did some of their BSG stuff, but I might be mistaken.

This is just a sample of the first page of a 4 page thread about him. Like I said, I will be more than happy to try and get more personal info if needed by the mods. While I am not completely finished with my armor yet, you guys here are my "brothers in sand" and I dont want to see you get screwed.

  2. I don't suppose you ordered by credit card? At least then you could do something. Or contact the Better Business Bureau? There's got to be someway to make him accountable. If you paid with a check you must have a physical address, maybe some local troops could stop and say "Hi". I'm not even one of the orderers, but people like him need to be taken care of.

And if you don't have alot of personal info on the guy, I (or someone on there more) could ask around on Proptopia, the GB site. They have had plenty of angry threads on there in the past on him

  3. I tried looking on the Walmart website for jodphurs and came up with nothing. Are those $8. boots under a different name there?

Does anyone know how good MotorCowboy's boots are?

*I just noticed that the 59 price tag I thought was the boots price, was just for shipping, so even if MC is good, thats costly too.

  4. I know it's an old thread but I'm working on a spacepack myself.

td7603, could you possible post info/pics of what mods you've done to your pack. Or if anyone else has one that they want to show off, go ahead too.

    Thanks

After looking at td7603's profile, it doesnt seem like he's been around in awhile, at least not posting, so I may be out of luck.
