  1. Here is a picture of my intake manifold (thanks Gordon for finding it) and I used the zip ties for the making of hamburger stackers. My question is how others that used this way or know how to keep them not from gliding up and down.

I was hoping for a good solution that I don´t need to take away the zip ties and do it over :(.

    Posted Image

Sorry about the flash and bad quality picture.

  2. Thanks for sharing Jimmy.

If I am not mistaken the song have another version sang by Jackie Chan himself. :)

your welcome and what I know there is a movie version of the song where Jackie and the girl actress (don´t remember the name but she is korean)is singing this song.

  3. I'm guilty of that too. I sign up an account at the other detachments just to check stuff out. ;)

I must admit that I also have done this, but as long as you login at least a few times a year it must count as an semi-active member at least :P.

  4. To cool pics, and armor Jimmy.

The location looks very death valley ANH cool.

Love the music, very kitch a like Question Tarantion style :D

Thanks :), and the music is from the movie: the myth (jackie chan)

  5. Now it looks much better, and to see that a bit over 1000 members have wrote over 72000 messages ( I know it´s wrong but new people will think so) that looks like the active forum it is.

Thanks for sorting this out :)

  6. Since it say´s it´s 2,420 members on MEPD I wounder how many of them are active. I think it´s great that it´s over 2000 members but is it not time to delete members that has not been online for ex. 18 months or more?

I think I would be nice to see how many "real, active" members there is on MEPD.

Maybe I am thinking wrong about this or maybe someone agree?

If this has been done and the 2,420 members is correct, then I appologise :).

  7. Hi, here is a video with pictures taken today. I have not changed anything on the pictures (like taking away forrest in the background etc). And I also know you guys and gals really love sand...

so enjoy and if you are clever you might remember what movie the music is from :).

If someone wants pictures used in this video for any kind of use, just pm me.

  8. Almost done. I just need a sticker for the dial and a clear plastic piece to cover the sticker. And a few coats of flat black. That's a Crashmann large knob.

Looks great, I am trying this radio but with wood. I hope it will be a tiny bit as good as yours. If it dosn´t I guess I will have to find some plastic :).

  9. Hey Jimmy,

I can see what you refer too.

The 16 pieces are part of the speaker.

And the one piece with the rectangular cut out is for where the brand logo would go.

    Check this pict.

    Hope it helps.

    Saludos.

Ok That picture helped alot, thanks :). I have this speaker I am going to use, that´s why I didn´t understand it is made of 16 pieces.

I still need to trim the edges, but I hope it will be close enought to the original.

  10. I have a question since I am going to try build my own radio. in the first template there is some pieces that are locaded in the bottom left corner I don´t understand what they are for. And it say´s it´s 16 of those pieces needed.

Also there is in the piece above the ones I just wrote about that has a square that says: only cut out for bottom left. My question is why don´t I see any thing on the radios that are done, and what is it´s function.

  11. Hi Jimmy. I just measured some 1/2 inch pvc pipe here, and the outer diameter is about 22mm. In north america, the 1/2" dimension is the inner diameter.

    Hope that helps!

That helps alot. I know now I bought the wrong one and need to get the 20mm ones instead. One other problem is the 90 degree angle that´s used in North America (maybe other countries also) can´t be found here :(. The ones here are not a straight 90 angle but more bent so wires don´t get caught in there.

Well thank you very much :)

  12. I have a question about the frame used for the backpack. It´s suppose to be a 1/2" pipe (the yellow one) and if I convert that into milimeter then it´s 1.27mm and here in Sweden (and maybe most of europe) we only have 16 mm and 20 mm pipes. The 16 mm pipe is that size on the outside and the inner measurement is (the hole) 13 mm.

I hope someone can confirm that 16 mm is almost the same as the 1/2" and is the one to use.

  13. Well I am not a full member of MEPD yet but hopefully in a near future. Anyway I wanted to share a picture I took (wife did) me and two stormtroopers and one sandpeople and a real swedish cop. First there was four of them passing us but only one stayed so we could take the picture.

    Enjoy :)
