    Hey you guys did a great job!

    Also don't forget the steps and timing,take notes and all until your final result,or you'll keep loosing directions like me :P

    But its good you know...going back and do it again,its fun!! :lol:

    One thing that i appreciate from GL for this,is that he didn't use special effects and tried to re-create using real props and costumes for the sandtroopers.

    Although it was way more different than the originals,he didn't use the original armor from Episode 4/5 on the archive for recreating it(afaik),so its still well preserved........oh that's 2 :D

    You'll made it amigo,you got one of the best set of helmet and armor for recreating it!

    Diamond Knee Plate

    Yes, they are vac formed, same as the rest of the armour. They are the original knee plate part of the armour until the design was revised when they went back to the studio.

    I believe these original Sandtrooper armours stayed as they are and never got revised. I'd bet they were pulling Stormtrooper armour while the filming in Tunisia was taking place and they had all new suits to use at Elstree.

    So if its also vac formed,did they also attached it with glue?

    I thought there were tatooine scene shot at Elstree sir? :unsure:

    Whats the bust made of? i planned to made a cabinet like the batman's cabinet on begins with a bust like that in the center with my backpack on its bottom,biceps-forearms,thighs,shins,boots on the sides

    so far eeevverything still on a plan :P

    Just do my 2nd troop!

    Jakarta Car Free day was 'held' once every 2 weeks,almost all vehicles not allowed to pass on this part of Jakarta's center point roads. not only filled with joggers and bikers mind you :blink::lol:

    I'm with a group called Order 66,a local SW fan club formed years ago

    I regret that i dont bring my blaster with me,because there were a lot of cops and afraid that they will took it from me,but its fun anyways......just...felt empty without my blaster :(

    the tube stripe is little bit short,just a little towards the inside,'move along' helmet were quite short,but not that short.

    what paint are you using for it? if its humbrol # 14 or something similar you're on the right track :)

    I also think the eyes need to be trim more,make the corners more sharper not rounder. avoid trimming the top and bottom side again,it had enough cut. plan your cut first.

    I agree with Brad,trim the ear body on the middle with also paying attention on the front gap,its tricky though,do it slowly,that could solve the problem. You also might want to trim the rear bottom leg lip of the ear a little,it also might help to minimize the gap on the leg. Do it with caution though,we can be wrong :) I cant see anymore problem so far,keep us posted!
