Brilliant news about the radio. I Was checking out page 5 and thinking that's it then checked page 4 to see I was late again. Nice work.
-
Great it's back on. I am really looking forward to seeing the progress and pics.

That's another nice looking pack Rolf. Love your attention to detail.

I remember someone using garden 'leaky' irrigation hose. That looked spot on for thickness and had the right texture too. Looks like 12mm. Here's link for 10mm and 13mm hose.

Those pouches are looking awesome and nice idea about the weathering. It's like a big pouch swap out there.

So I have to ask Rolf how many pauldrons do you now have!? They look nice
-
Probably the smaller but in this image it looks like a cross between the two sizes.

Dial looks nice. It's incredible to think if the radio box was a found item, it would have been discovered by now or someone that constructed them hadn't spoken out. Looking at it, it looks like a collection of components joined together.
'It's more bits of machine now than radio ham, twisted and evil'.
Sorry couldn't resist.

Put me down for a set if there is any room, these are too good to miss.

Put me on the list! That is one good looking MG15 my favourite firearm for a stormie. I was thinking of making one of these but looking at this its not going to happen now. A work of art

Got the CD and his sandy as my screen saver. Welcome back

Wow! How did I miss this thread. These look great. Count me in for a few.

There's your new avitar right there Rolf. Nice Job.

Airbrushing doesn't give the right look, it's too contrived and controlled a medium, rags sponges and hands and a big brush ( movie accurate ) is the way to go

Looking fit for 39 Tony. Happy Birthday!

Warm water and some colour and chuck the belt in the water take out and apply more colour while the belt is wet. If you don't like it throw it in the water again. Muddy water will have the same effect but you may want to lighten the hue for that dessert look

I am also interested in getting my buttons right.
I have AP armor and miss the 3 buttons. I have tried to search what other people use as buttons with no luck.
So my question is how big is the buttons?
And sorry for borrowing your tread nice-biscuit .
No problem Julius
I made some buttons using a spare piece of 2mm HIPS and a 16mm plug cutter, which look OK. You may want to take up Troopermaster's offer though.

Nice job, close up and personal. Love it!
-
Thanks Zac looks good. The number of buttons is it three or four? I have a TE2 with four buttons but most armours show three and in the above reference there looks like there is something below the third button.
-
Has anybody got any close up reference photos how the ab buttons and slots look, as close as possible to the film. I have got some, but I wouldn't mind a definitive reference if one exists.
-
Still nice to see though

Nice One! Love the Opera in the background.

I've got a spare if anyone wants one in Large. PM me.

I don't go onto MEPD for a day and this is what happens. Congrats to JKJ for finding the radio and Mike for the awesome work on the dial. Absolutely brilliant!!
