lol! no bro...i laid it out to check the shade match so far when i took the pics but the skateboard thing was way funnier than my armour bro

the vintage Arrow is still complete (apart from strap brackets) but being gifted this old unit by Ruggero has spurred me on to make improvements to my new unit as compared to the one i gave smally a while ago
a few cheap,and simple mods can make the already awesome kit look more like a vintage unit -
a while ago ,i gave Smally my built up "Dirty Boy" Sonix radio box so he could get his new TM sandie approved for duty .....he kindly ordered me another kit from Rick so i can start my pack refurbishment ,,,,,this is how it looks so far guys ! ( i am awaiting radio strap brackets - as i sent Rick the ones from my vintage Arrow (sonix based) radio unit, to cast molds to add more awesomeness to his already awesome radio kits ! ....i made a pvc stitched pleath, added the 2 female jack sockets and also the telescopic aerial and (a first for me ) i replicated the vintage feet of the radio unit as near as i could ! .....hope you like it so far guys

the nearest thing i could find for the plastic feet on the vintage unit were plastic screw caps (painted satin black) and added black plastic caps over this ....

ive replicated this detailing too from the vintage Arrow unit !

i matched the grain of the pvc as near as i could on this too ( as the vintage unit is a very thin pvc veneer over cardboard then stitched !!!!!!! )

as you know guys, i have had to do some repairs to my old faithful sandie armour which meant i was trooping scout for a while ....here are a couple of pics so far ....i have gone back to my " trusty old "black pauldron too!
STILL MORE WORK TO DO YET ,and pack upgrades to do too !- but i really miss trooping this old girl buddies !
i used a combination of diluted pigment sprayed on to all the armour parts and finished with my trusty old 2" paintbrush,raw umber and rag !
....still needs more detailing adding yet guys !.....

this was a great little event at the school my 2 youngest kids attend ,to raise money towards a new p.c and i-pads for the school it was a 4 hour event and raised a total of £600.00 in that short time ! ...another lovely ,small community troop here brothers and sisters a few pics for you

.... one thing to highlight is that i believe there should be no hengstler counter or power cylinders on the e-11 ,if you could remove these it would be a great detail for your SWAT application buddy...keep up the great work here bro! -
