  3. dutchy

    Ranks.

A lot of work to be done then, but I guess you will be finished with it next week, knowing at what speed you work
  4. Mark Hamill..where did I hear that name before..wasn't he the guy with the black talking car
  5. I don't know if the propmakers will be that enthousiastic when their names are in the open. I completely agree with this statement. It all depends on what the consumer finds accurate and/ or we of the MEPD find accurate or discuss about as being accurate. Also take notice of what Mike says about availability. But making a guideline for props e.g. like where to find them or how to make them, is a great idea but there are enough topics where these matters are discussed.
  6. Oooh, that sounds promising Gonna try that 4 sure.
  7. Count me in, we did a similar thing for TD-443. He lost his house and belongings to the flames.. TROOPERS LET'S HELP ABROTHER OUT PP send
  8. let's hope that you don't forget then.. Amnesia has gotten it's benefits..what was a I doing on this topic again..
  9. Could you tape it and maybe put it on DVD..
  10. Bad @$$ look you bet bro, otherwise how will the local population abide with rule of Galactic Empire Law enforced by the MEPD? .... You're more than welcome bro'..And isn't it great to be a TD Getting dirty and don't have to clean up afterwards And getting dirty is what it's all about bro'.
  11. Peter, I used the slate grey to start with and then wiped it all off. So in the small area's there will be minute scratch like marks and then the Ocher and to finish both the Umbers. I had to fiddle a lot to get the right look, but you know it for yourself when you have found it. My son and my girlfriend asked me at a certain moment if it was real sand that I have used, that was the sign for me that I got the look. But still it is personal how you want your armor to look. I tried to give my armor the move along look, but my bucket is weathered completely different. This is where the personal touch comes into play. I find it a compliment that you noticed a slight resemblance with the move along weathering. I can't wait to see your modified stunt helmet and colour scheme on your armor. And as an squad officer aka Captain you definately gotta have the bad *** look Justus
  12. Good job..But maybe use some more colours and give the armor a random wipe with a brush or cloth to get a better weathering effect. Keep us posted on your progress!!
  13. Here you have mine..I got 4 cats, both pairs are brother and sister. Here you can see them: This is the man of the house..Raziƫl His sister Geisha that never gets enough attention, at least that is her opinion The other big boy, he is so much fun..Joa And finally his evil twin sister Luna..
  14. Hey there, TD DAD... MANY CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hope the little henriksen will be as crazy about SW and graffiti as his dad.. Good training is needed...
  15. I think this does say it all Keep us posted on the progress though!!
  16. Guess who is gonna help....again
  17. Ooooh..that sounds good Sand OverLord. The parts from TM are really cool, actually the whole TM armour is cool. I may assume that you will share your results in the form of a few pictures on the boards then when you are finshed. The part about the Fullers Earth sounds really good too. I myself used 4 colours to from the woodland kit to get this result. You'll need to do some experimenting as well to get the desired result my man..I know I did Hope to see those pictures soon!!
  18. Thanks a lot my man.. Maybe we will see eachoter one day at a trooping event in the Netherlands.. Loved what you did with the bucket by the way!
  19. Thanks Sand OverLord. Weren't you going for an AP as well??
  20. This looks unbelievably good. And all the sculptures and works of art....pffew. But did all of the wood artwork go up in flames or just the man?? Anyway this is a trip to remember...thanks for sharing those incredible pics Rache!!
  21. I used mostly industrial elastic band and some industrial pvc glue, similar to hotglue, next to a few inches of velcro and some snaps. I even glued the elastic band and it works like a dream. Riveted the knee box and glued the sniper knee and I am satisfied with the result. Everything is still in place and that makes me even more happy Would be kinda sloppy when you troop and things start falling off..
  22. Great achievement!! Maybe try to get a few of your stories published
