THAT was awesome! :o

Happy B-Day whipper snapper! Ol Scootch is right in the middle at 41 physical age, 12 mental age.
I can relate to that! I always tell people that my mental age is "somewhat lower" than my real one...
-
Well, I'm not the youngest or the oldest, but my 32nd birthday is... TODAY!!!
-
Both cheese-grater and ANH style handplates are used.

Thanks, but I've just received an PM from TM on the FISD forums, so I'll be squared of now.
Thanks for the replies!
Of course, now I'll start taking pics on my progress...
-
Well, since I live in Norway, I think a US supplier will be more expensive.....
But thanks for the advice, and I've already made a topic on FISD.

Well, I managed to procure a "flawed" helmet from AP!
Only thing I need now, is the rubber "head-band" and around bucket opening... So, where's the best place to get these?
I searched the forums, and found one thread that said sealsdirect.co.uk had some items that fitted, but are they the only one?

What's wrong with paperbacks? They are the same books, only in a smaller and more convenient package.
Anyways... I've read all of Timothy Zahns SW books, they're IMO the best there is! Kevin J. Anderson writes good as well, the same applies to Michal Stackpole and his X-Wing books.
My favorite has to be the short story about 501st in Allegiance, by Zahn. Even though the story is placed in the New Jedi Order era.

When trying to enter the forum via the main mepd.net page, it links to sandtrooper.net. And it doesn't show the forums.

I still remember that day... Man, what a shock it was.
-
Paypal on it's way.
-
I'll take one in XL (if they are large in sizes, maybe I'll take L instead).

Quick question: Is this run for MEPD deployed only, or could I possibly buy one too?
If yes, I'd take one, please!!
-
Wanted to bid on that one myself. It looks great!
-
I agree, but it would be best if this was something related to the garrisons. That way we that don't have MEPD status (yet...) could be part of these precincts as well!

Happy birthday, Rolf!
-
That is really great! Thanks to Lucasfilm for doing that!
-
Have to agree with Ray! Absolutely great looking!
-
That's the first time I've noticed a sandtrooper in the movie WITHOUT a pauldron!
-
I've just checked the GW website, and it states that the newest is the 5th edition. Just to clarify....
Anyways, the new book is great! Lots of new stuff and pictures.
-
Just bought the newest rulebook myself (version 5? Or was it 4?).
Dawn of War 2 looks like it's going to be really good! Have the first one, and love it!
-
They look really good!
Now, can I persuade you to paint my Dark Angels for me?
-
No problems mate!
Although we all are different and are placed all over this tiny little speck called Earth, we still share this love for Star Wars.
We are very much Brothers in Arms, from my point of view at least!
Glad to hear my humble contribution can help.

Dutchy: PM me the pp adress, will you?
BTW, I'm soon to land in Amsterdam, have you guys got any good restaurants scoped out yet?
I need info/advice on Airsoft guns (or similar?)

If yoy want a cheap, but good, gun to start with, I recommend a brand called Jing Gong. They are basically Chinese copies of Tokyo Marui (which again is one of the biggest airsoft suppliers).
If you want good and solid, Classic Army is very good. They come standard with a muzzle velocity of 350 feet per sec., and metal body.
Last, but not least, Tokyo Marui is launching a new M4. Which includes metal body, recoil system, bolt stopper (stops when your out of ammo in the mag, and you have to operate the bolt catch release).
See more of that, here: http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=xIO7SCrYcuA
Good luck!
