Hey Phil!
Yeah I am trying to get my armor dirty enough to deploy.
This helmet is a single piece, I have a TE and this is pretty similar. Even has the bump in the tears.
At the end of the Day my TE 1 was 400 bucks and wasn't as troopable as I would have liked. Nothing against Matt his helmet wasn't for me. I am actually in the process of stripping it and repainting it, in the hopes of putting in on display in my office.
This was 170, and I could drop kick it. If someone screws it up at a troop I am not going to have kittens.
We all know that it happens.
I just need to get this beast dirty!

What do you use to dye the leather ammo pouches?
I have tried some brush on shoe polish but I think its wrong.
I am in the states what do you guys recommend?

Hey Guys,
I bought an assebmled helmet from TE. I dont think the ears are sitting correctly. I have taken it apart. I need pics of the ears from the sides, back and looking down on the dome.
Do they sit even?
Are they off center?
What is the most cannon.

However.
If you are over 200 pounds you look bad in TE armor its just too small.
I think that armor needs to be proportional to your frame.

To be honest people make great scratch built lewis guns for less than half of what this guy is looking for for the parts.

Guys I just need to double check some things in regaurd to the TD helmet.
What color are the pinstrips?
Also the there are no lines in the gray areas?

Ok .
Got a new set of FX armor, to make it a sandy.
Last night I started building it.
Couple of things.
1. The Helmet is a festering heap of bantha poop.
2. I need an RT mod or TE2 helmet. If you guys have any sources let me know.
3. I need a tutorial or ab piece.
4. On an up note I am psyched that nobody can still my TD or belt boxes.
5. It feels good to be back in armor.
6. I need the cheese grator hands those are cool.
If any one has any suggestions before I proceed let me know.

Mike, thanks for those pics. I was totally intending work on it today and it didnt happen.
Charlie your right to be honest I wasn't happy with the TE at all. I can understand why people might like them. But it I didn't get what I was looking for. It wasnt worth the money in my opinion.
Different strokes for different folks.
At the end of the day its one piece and was half the price of me TE.
