  2. I'm no longer a member of the Star Garrison, as we have grown and formed our own Garrison now in Louisiana which is Bast Alpha Garrison, my profile still has me listed as Star G and my profile also has the Star logo. I have the new logo to forward to the bro in charge of making updates. Also when you follow my 501st info link from my MEPD profile page it comes up blank, not that it's that big of a deal. Since being Deployed I've also made alot of upgrades and changes to my armor including pouches, weapons and weathering. I would like to update my photo if possible and to help out I do have some skillz with photoshop. All I would need is the backdrop boarder image. Please let me know who I need to contact regarding these changes. Thanks in advance! 5491 out...
  3. I totally agree bro, why half azz it? Thanks to all for the input/feedback/info.
  4. I here about or am asked by so many TK's wanting to go Sandy but don't want to dirty their armor. So does the 501st allow a TD classification if your clean? The MEPD does require your armor dirty to be Deployed correct? I know how things change and wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. I also ask this so I can tell these guy's to stop bugging me, LOL Thanks in advance for the answers! 5491 out...
  5. This was the last e-mail I sent to Lewis regarding my post. It still doesn't meret calling me a ******* and all the other coments. Real professional there guys And yes I should have done my homework on who made what that way I would have never posted this in the first place. I'm sorry I'm not rich, then I wouldn't have thought twice about getting a pair.
  6. I think it looks cool just the way it is as well. Mine is about the same and I thought about taking it down a tone but I get way more attention compaired to the clean troopers in my squad so I'm keeping mine as dirty as I can Dirty Troopers get more lovin, especially at Mardi Gras Here's a pic of me at the midnight madness troop at TRU, you can kinda see I thought mine to be too dark. I'm 5'10 and 185 ilb so you can get the scale. My cushman is also missing a strap. I see now after more research that I used too much of the burnt Umber (I think) and most troopers in the movie are more dirty from the feet up to hardly any dirt on the helmet, looks more like chips and other colors but **** I'l colored blind so I may be way off I know one thing, the most said comment to me is nothing but praise and how I look more real to them because of the weathering. I also get asked if the metal armor is heavy
  7. Update mine to all three colors but you already know that Scootch Can't wait brother!!
  8. Funny you should metion that, I e-mailed them for an unbuilt and unfinished pair and as of today no response yet
  9. That is nice bro, thanks for the link. I would rather get an unpainted piece. Maybe even just the kit so I could build it myself. Thanks again brother, much appreciated!
  10. Thanks for your comment's bros, yahnthe sandtroope shot is awesome Here's a few more pics. David Prowse Custom Carded Darth Vader figure presentation. DP signing our version of the David Prowse custom card to be completed later. Steve Sansweet presentaion of the Burnt Crispy Beru action figure I made him.
  11. Ask and you shall recieve bro! Here's a few from Sunday, the Saturday picx will be up hopefully by tomorrow Angie and Peter Mayhew (Good friends of our squad here in Louisiana ) I presented Peter with his own personal custom card last Mardi Gras when we brought them over for a Children's hospital vist and to be in one of the large parades here. We've been close ever since. VERY awsome people!!! Meeting Lord Vader himself was a childhood dream come true. Vader was my very first memory from SW and my very first SW figure that I bugged my mom to buy me. I don't have the pics of the custom card I gave him yet but I'll post them as soon as I get em. He was really excited about it (so was I) and I got his autograph for free which was really cool and from what I'm told is unheard of. That being said I had to have another one signed so just in case I brought one of my favorite Vader figs for him to autograph. I got to meet a talented artist Jamie Shell that I've been talking to on the CE and finally got my sandtrooper pic that he did. He was a really cool dude and I'm holding a sketch card that he did for me of my helmet he'd seen from the day before.
  12. Sounds like a plan brother, I got the first round Yah I seen that long azz line I had to keep taking my stuff I was getting back to the car and walking along the looooooong line to Bruce and was glad that wasn't me although I wanted to be in it, but just couldn't bring myself to spend the cash. The hurricanes here set me back and thankfully I was able to go at all. Nice meeting you Chaz, take care brother! walt
  13. Thanks bro, it was fun making the crispy figs I got a few pics uploaded from Sunday which I had my own camera. My squad mate was taking pics Saturday and I'm waiting on those pics and I had no rom in my armor. I do have some to post in a minute. Thanks again!
  14. I got to tarvel to Texas this past weekend for the Fan Days 2 convention and had a great time. Lots of 501st bros and sis' there and I got to finally meet another MEPD brother. I wasn't thinking at the time but we should have taken a picture together. As soon as I get some pics uploaded I'll post them. For those of you that lived within 7 hrs of this you should have been there as it was a blast!! I presented two custom carded action figures, one to David Prowse for his role as Darth Vader and also a crispy Aunt Beru to Steve Sansweet as I knew he would love to add that sick figure to his vault. Tons of fun and people to share to love of Star Wars, could it get any better? I think not... Pics to follow soon. peace bros walt

  18. How about a big 12" patch of this ???? Now that would look awesome on the back of a military flight Jacket!!!
  19. I have a question, is it just me or does it look a little short and not long enough? I'm going by how they look on troopers in the pics that have been posted so far. Could I get some dimentions please? I just want to make sure it's the right size for me so I don't look goofy as I have more broad shoulders. Thanks in advance
  20. I've sent e-mails and PM's and still no responce from either guy I guess I'll have to customize my Sub game, anybody got any other sources on doing these?
