  1. Great pics. It's cool to see stuff from different angles. Tim
  2. Yes it is strong enough. If you use like a 2 inch plus bolt it's solid. Tim I do have an HF T-21 too. This is the only issue I have. I don't know how to put the sling mount. So by doing what you did.......can you hang your T-21 by the sling? Is the sling mount strong enough? Please let us know.
  3. Yeah, I thought the same thing so I've been adding more weathering. Tim Looking good. If I may make a suggestion, I would concentrate a little more "heavier" weathering around the boots and shin areas, you are walking around in sand after all but it's just my opinion. Great job!!
  4. And heres a picture of what I used for my sling mount. It's one of my ends from my backpack straps. I put a bolt through it with some washers, held in place with E6000. Tim http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/slingmount.jpg
  5. Oh, and I used 2 zip ties to hold down the drain pipe. Tim
  6. Ok, Heres some more detailed pix of my T21 including descriptions of my build. Tim Heres looking at the bottom of the gun showing the drain pipe. The drain pipe does not make it around the diameter of the gun, so you'll have a gap. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing2.jpg I use a piece of sheet styrene for the thing in front of the ribbing. I think it's 2" wide and long enough to wrap around the barrel. You can see in this photo that I slid about 1/4" of it under the drain pipe. I then took 1/4" wide strip styrene to do the lips on the end and up against the drain pipe. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/ribbing6.jpg The wire is copper ground wire from Home depot. I drilled for the screws and coated them with E6000. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing7.jpg To hold the wire down where it pushes up against the sling I slipped one of the pieces from my snaps over a screw. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing3.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing4.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing1.jpg
  7. Sure, I'll take some more detailed pics. Tim
  8. I used the home depot drain pipe for the ribbing and I used some sheet styrene for the part that wraps around the barrel in front of the drain pipe. The wire is copper ground wire from the depot. Tim would love to know what you did/used to make the modifications, please.
  9. I used some copper wire I got at Home depot. It's ground wire they sell by the foot in the electrical section. I think its about 1/8" thick. Tim Awesome work on your T-21! What did you use for the wire that is in between the drain pipe and the sling?
  10. I think you need to fill in that hole in the middle of your disc. Here's a pic of mine. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/IMG_5317.jpg
  11. Thanks! and a little dirt,,,,, http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/dirtybuttons.jpg
  12. Ha!, Thats funny, my wife kept adjusting my armor today as well. Yes they were and wife popped them back in after the pic was taken...
  13. Looks awesome! Are your hamburger stackers falling out of the siphon? Tim
  14. Here you go, I just gotta dirty em up. Tim http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/buttons.jpg
  15. I kept my TK parts from my AP and it has 2 button setups. One is the more square TK one with 4 buttons and the other is just a strip with 4 buttons. I guess I just cut off the extra button and glue it on? Thank God I kept that stuff. Tim
  16. Ah, the buttons, My AP doesn't have the 3 buttons, I gotta add that. 501st sandtrooper access? I'm already a member if thats what you mean? Tim Well FIRST off you should already have 501st / sandtrooper access... so now that's done. Now then, the pics look great! I have a few questions... Do you have 3 buttons on the ab plate? I can't see that clearly. Zac may have more questions, and gives the final approval anyway, but you're lookin' good! Great job! Just hang tight. Oh, and we only allow Rayovac batteries in helmets for accuracy. (just kidding)

  18. Yes, it's a hyperfirm. The detail is really crisp. You can even see the stamped lettering of the manufaturer. quote name='pandatrooper' date='27 March 2010 - 11:33 PM' timestamp='1269754407' post='78199'] Nice! Is that a Hyperfirm? I love the detail on the barrel shroud, you can see the grooves.
