  1. Hi there, I won't pretend to be an expert , I am at the moment putting together my first kit , but I have looked at picture after picture for the past year for reference and every f/x leg I can recall is squared off a bit at the bottom , you could try heating and reshaping but caution when doing this , could easily end up looking a mess or if you want to spend ££££ ££££'s sds will supply thighs also rt will do thighs seperate, the only thing there is the strip running down the front which I believe both of these have , unlike the f/x where it wraps round so you might need to add a strip to the fronts of the calfs as well.

I expect others do thighs seperate but these two are ones I know of for definate.

    Cheers................

  2. Been playing with a couple of bits to make some plain shoulder straps and a belt, I got some British 37 pattern webbing and started to bleach it out, any chance a few of you could post some pics of your plain shoulder straps for reference on width and fixings etc.

I'm going to use dyed mp40 webbing pouches so thought the straps and belt in the same material might bring it together. I will put a pic up if it ever dries out.

    Cheers.......

  3. Given MR are notorious for nicking other peoples images (including some off my site on more than one occasion), maybe this time they've gone one step further and the stormtrooper helmet on show at the UK toy fair WAS an SDS

    Cheeers

Hi there, been a good while since I have been on the board.

Not sure if it was the same gig but a mate of mine was working up at the London toy fair and had a look at the Mr stand, picked up the trooper lid on display, had sds sticker inside...........
