I've trimmed my leg armor a lot but stairs are still hard. It's elavator time!!

Well I got a Classic action DP and it is better but I still can't look down. Some people don't realize just how hard it is to see out of that darn thing. So yes spotters are a GOOD thing. We have a parade coming up and we are behind the business end of some horses so needless to say we NEED spotters!!

I have been told to use a green wielding shield. You can find them at any wielding suppy store. I'm picking up one next week to do just that.

That's pretty much what I did. Disposable nail files work great on projects like this. The kind you can get in large packs for around a buck. There's a rust brown side and a tan side. I have found them to be an invaluable tool for mods to ABS armor such as the TK kits.

Matt, I did mine!! It was easier then I thought it would be. It just made me cringe a little when I cut into ab plate. The "Oh now what if I screw it up" syndrome. But it turned out great. *whew*

That's what I did as well. It seems to work for me. Being a little shorter it helped adjust the armor to fit me better too. And the belt covers it up! Good luck on that!!!

Well I did the ab plate and dumped the drop boxes myself, but yes I agree some of the mods should be a personal choice. All I need is the smooth handbacks and I'm set. But I do not know where to find those so for now I'll stick with the standard ones. Katt

Oh I know, but a poor person like me can't afford the really cool leather ones. I am toying with trying to make a set out of leather myself. But the old sewing machine might got on strike if I try to! For now I have to settle for the yucky canvas ones until I can get my hands on a leather set. Besides got to save money for BFG!!!

Change of plan. I am going to wear it after all. My Fett stuff is down the road (long story!! ) So I have decided I am going to trim the snot out of it until it fits right!!! And get a smaller helmet!!I hate the FX helmet!! You could use the darn thing for a trash can it's so big!!! I put a lot of work into the armor so it seems silly not to wear it. So as soon as I get my TD approval from 501st I'm applying here! The kit is all ready to go!! BTW the ab mod wasn't as had as I thought it would be. Any suggestions on mounting the MP 40 pouches on the sides? Do you just put them on you straps holding you thigh pieces up or what? Thanks Katt

My pack has storage, not like the space pack. But 3 of the containers open so you can put stuff in them. I just think the space pack looks cooler!!Well I there is a complete stormtrooper kit on Ebay with a space pack so at least I have pics of one now. No he is going to be the fly boy. I was thinking AT-AT Driver. We don't have one in our unit and it looks like an easy kit to be together. Besides I always thought Stormtrooper armor was sexy.

Smaller armor would be nice, it's all a bit too big for me. Would take a lot of cutting down to make it fit right.
