  1. Some things I agree with... but let's not get too anal. It takes away the fun of it all. No one has a truely "accurate" sandtrooper and yet every sandtrooper is different. I think there should be some requirments Pauldron, backpack, ab plate, knee diamond, dirt, ammo pouch. but I see some troopers with rebel insgina stickers on their helmets and I think that is cool! eh... my 2 cents
  2. Looks great, Impressive... most impressive. Thanks for keeping this bad *** site going
  3. How old is your heart...? I'm guessing not old. You're never too old! We still like to play in the dirt Welcome aboard
  4. I am building a T-21, I need some help with the end of the barrel. The barrel is PVC and I really do not want to use a reducer to a smaller pvc for the nose. I've seen some real nice work around the site here. Any help is great apprecaited!
  5. last week during an apperance at a theater for ROTS I was scrambling to attach my ammo pouch, now that I've had a chance to sit. I put something together that works well. Good luck
  6. Not bad, butI still prefer the home made packs, they may be heavier, but everyone's is different, I think that's important.
  7. http://www.multiplehat.com/whitearmor/ www.tk409.com These are the main sites I use for just about all my TK/TD stuff
  8. good luck, wouldn't worry about a "good" white. you're dirty any ways. I used 3" elastic strapping from a fabric store for the back of my trooper belt., nice snug fit too.
  9. I sewed a strap with snaps to one of my backpack straps, My ammo pouch has a D-Ring that I looped the strap through and snap the snaps to hold it on. Hope this picture helps.
  10. I know 2 people who have them and they are built for trooping and they look bad ***! Well worth it. I strongly recommend it. Also they are great for a starter set, you can build off of it. Good luck
  11. jealous, I am, great looking gear. !!!
  12. Here's an older picture of my sandy pack. It has since had several changes, I've slipped and fallen in bantha poodoo and now I am adding some nice, new, comfortable straps. I'll update the picture soon.
  13. Check out www.tk409.com he's got some good suggestions. I just ran a strap around my shoulder, under my backpack and under the little piece that connects my shoulder bell to the chest armor. Hope that helps. Katt eh..? My wife's name is Kat.. only one T
  14. Right now I have the standard FX helmet. Now that my tusken raider is done, I'd like to upgrade to a nicer, more accurate helmet. Any suggestions, help, etc would be greatly apprecaited. thanks team - D
  15. thanks for the kind welcomes. I'm looking forward to the dirt.
  16. Do you NEED to have a BFG to join the MEPD. I recall several sandies in ANH armed with just E-11's. So...? Thanks.
  17. I started the process of getting my armor filthy this week. So far I'm having a blast and I am very pleased with how it is coming out. Once I learn how to get pictures up on here.. I'll have some pics. Thanks CT Sandies
  18. This idea is BRILLIANT! but... I'm scared. ..what if I want to go out as a standard TK...? I can't make up my mind Damnit!
  19. I haven't been on here for awhile. I 've been pre-occupied with the daily grind. But now I'm back and I'm going to take the plunge into getting dirty. This week I plan on picking up the paints I need. I've had my backpack done, before I even got my armor (this is about a year ago) pauldron, and I've gone through several heavy blaster. This weekend I made my diamond knee plate. I'm still up in the air, what I should do about my abs. I'd like to get my hands on an extra drop box and cut out the standard TK ab greeblies and make a little something so I could go back and forth, but I'm not sure. Everyone's gear looks great and has been great inspiration.
  20. I'm looking to get a Sandtrooper abe plate for my FX armor. Who/where...? I need contacts. Thanks -
