Same questions, I am finishing up my RT Mod and would like to replace the standard TK decals with plain old grey Sandtrooper decals.

If you want an ANH accurate belt, use white canvas, 3 1/2" wide, with seams 1/8" in from top and bottom. You can reinforce it by trimming the width on the plastic belt, and slipping that inside the cloth belt. Ta-da. "sandtrooper belt" Oh yeah, and like pug said, ditch the air tank.
Thats what I got

Impresive, guys. Most impresive.
Derek, that is one mean Tusken costume, especially the gaffi stick. Tuskens are one of my favorite creatures from the whole saga. I always wonder what it would look like to unwrap one those for real and look what's underneath. I don't know if this is truth but I heard many years ago that in the SW folklore these creatures were not animal or vegetable, but rather mineral. Anybody knows anything about it?
Thanks! I had a great time making it! I've always loved Tatooine. and its inhabitance [sandtrooper/Tusken Raider. It just might be may favorite part of Star Wars. My son is a Jawa

Today [6-22-05] One of Neil's [my son/jawa] teachers asked if we would like to come in and suit up for Culture Day at his school. "All the kids talk about is Star Wars." She says. SO, Marc [tk2279]and I [tk4434]suited up and took on a small group of 1st graders! It was great! I posted some pictures -

Anyone have any good sandtrooper desktop wallpaper ? or links for sandy desktops

hey pretty good. You have a lot of the true form of the movie packs. i LOVE customs, but I like when they follow close to the movie packs like yours. "Thrift Store" packs (as I'd heard them called) are fun to make.
Thank you. I tried to make it as close to the movie packs as I could without going crazy, but the more I watched every trooper's pack was different. I wanted to keep it indivdual too.

I used plain old Rustoluem primer, you can add "sctraches" with your finger nail and not put actual marks into your bucket
