B) niceeee, you hand painted it? its smooth man...

rolf is it okay to use 'white radar dish'?(mine is the white),or must the 'clear' ones like yours?

Copy that.

I hand paint all my parts for the MH/SB back pack parts, plus extra parts whit humbrol paint.

Its a bit of a hard work, and much more expensive then just a spray can.

But i will hold out much longer, through trooping too for sure.

I think the white one, will work out great.

I have never seen them in white, only in the typical plastic tone.

Whit the many different colours plastic back lid (but not used for the radar disc).

Is your radar disc, a vacum replica of hips/abs etc.

Cheers bro :)

Thanks bro, i´m pretty happy for it too.

If it should have been 100%, i like the tubes to just a mm or 2 thinner.

And maybe a few mm longer.

But it will work out fine, i guess :) .

Thanks buddy :) .

The lid comes in two sizes.

Its the smallest one seen in ANH (i think).

Mine is about 11,5cm wide, and 36,5cm around (from the 1 litre bottle lid).

Your white lid, looks great ;) .

(i think the big lid, sits on a 2 litre bottle.

And the small one, on a 1 litre)

mine is as big as yours B) love the size and shape, but not the material <_< i'll change with the clear one later,it looks good and correct one on yours, its tough to pay 2 times than the lid's for shipping lol bummer me...

i'll skip with brush maybe, lol dandy hands on mine

if its took a long time with, maybe they used spraypaint back then? you know...for saving precious little time

hey radio knobs B) "PP 32"? whats that? would be cool if its "TD 52" hehehehe :D

Cool you got the right lid size, hope you can find one whit the right tone soon.

Yeah the spray can will go zoom, and then its all done.

But i like, to hand paint the parts whit the humbrol.

And to get the right blue, aka humbrol 47.

I like the look, if all the parts are painted too whit humbrol.

Plus, the humbrol is a much stronger paint.

Then the thin spray paint brands.

I have seen spray pained packs, there paint comes off too easy when they troop in them etc.

The radio 32 lid, is from a washing product.

I just cut the it so it gets shorter, then a little in the bottom too of the bigger ring.

Then i just hot glue them together.

Move a long... :td::D

All most done.

I add most of the parts together whit strips.

(as we call them here in Denmark, you know the plastic strip the cops also use for handcuffs)

Here you go :) .

I might think, my oil filter was about 2 cm too short last time.

So i´m in progress, of making a new one.

Here is the first one.
