dutchy Posted March 10, 2016 Share Posted March 10, 2016 Hey troops, As I was checking some old WWII footage I stumbled across the type 92 Japanese machine gun. Check the ribbing out on this bad boy. Maybe the design team responsible for the heavy blasters got their inspiration from this gun and maybe they'd incorporated the actual part in the T21..but my guess is that it was some flexible pipe sleeve material.. Lozzer86 Posted April 8, 2016 Share Posted April 8, 2016 If you look at this image taken from a behind the scenes shot, you can see that the tubing is a bit larger in diameter than the Lewis barrel. If you compare this to a boiler heating pipe.... You can see some real similarities It's highly likely that this piece of 'set decoration' was in fact a heating coil or similar.
