That's too bad. Saves on shipping but makes you less distinguishable in the parade. I wonder about ammo pouches if they will consider those to be holsters. My problem is my pouch is riveted to my pack, along with my detonator.

That would probably be cheaper for me to ship it than to find a container that will fit it and probably get charged for oversized luggage by the airline. I'll have to FedEx or UPS it well in advance so it gets to the hotel on the 27th when I arrive. Twice my roommates at Dragon Con had costume items sent overnight to them that they forgot at home.

Hello I'm going to be in the Rose Bowl parade as a Sandtrooper. I got all my supplies ready for the flight except the backpack. I can't seem to find a container that will hold it suitable for airline luggage. I can't remember my packs exact dimensions I believe it's 28x24x14. I'd also consider acquiring a new pack since mine isn't truly canon.

What paint cures the best to ABS plastic? I used Woodland Scenics paint which looks great but wipes off too easily. Now that I did all the TD mods I'd like my dirt to be pernament. Here's a closeup of the weathered armor after some trooping which wiped some off. Here's me on G4TV at CIII The dirt however doesn't show up on some shots, like me in USA Today

I only use snaps on the shoulder bells. I used rivots on the knee pieces and the chest & back armor. Most other pieces are done with industrial velcro. Thigh, shin, & forearms pieces are CA glued together.

I rivoted the pouch to the backpack strap. That worked perfectly. I also don't have to worry about misplacing the pouch for forgetting to bring it to an event.

What's the best way to wear one of these? I had a strap looped through the back of the pouch then around the chest armor strap & Pauldron. It doesn't stay upright though and usually gets lopsided into my face. I'm also thinking of mounting it on my belt. Would that be MEPD Canon?
