  1. As you can tell, I have decided to share ALL of my Sandtrooper Pack Files, this includes Magma and Jedha.  It will take me a little while to upload these, but I hope people enjoy.  You will be able to build the entire Magam and Jedha packs from these files.  These files cost me a couple of thousand dollars just on design.  I feel like it is time I share them with everyone.

I will send you the google drive links to the files in the 3D File link you sent me.

  2.   Ok guess I should get this question answered.
First off how much does the field pack generally way ?
Also any other troopers out there have any shoulder issues, I screwed mine up bad in the army and Air Force and have issues just wearing a basic backpack of more than a few pounds and I get back and shoulder pain fast.
Just curious with my shoulders is wearing a pack something that's going to be worth building if I can't wear it?

I would say many of them weigh between 10 and 15 lbs. some may be more.

  3. Hey guys, first of all thank you for adding me Is there some progress on this CRL for the Heavy Weapons Trooper, as I am planning on expanding my basic ANH Armor to fit to this kind of trooper. Also I guess MEPD will take care of it or will it still remain with the FISD eventually?

    Thank you!

The CRL is being worked on at MEPD. You will need ROTJ armor for this.

  4. Below is where I am at on the pack.  The top left piece is ready to be molded.  The bottom left piece has already been molded and what you see is the vacuum formed piece.  The top piece is going to be slightly redone.  The top right tube is a found part (thermos).  We are currently working on molding the base.  Next piece we are working on is the bottle piece between the thermos and the upper left box.  Going for 100% accuracy on this pack.

  5. In order to be screen accurate, I am redoing many parts of the pack.  The first piece is the upper left box.  I have 3D printed the top part and will add the wood to the bottom to make is a mold for vacuum forming as the screen used versions have.

I have already completed the bottom left box, mortar tube on the right, and some other pieces.  Now that I have all of the pieces, I can figure out the size of the base and start working on the mold.  I will post more progress this week, when I am back at my workshop.

  6. Don't worry bro.
I'll try to get a file set up for you with all my files.
Give me a day or two and I will post the link  probably here.
    Saludos

Cool. Do you have any good photos of the pack? I do have some really good ones so far, but it never hurts to have more. I am revising the base unit right now.

  7. Yea your pack is great! go ahead and post. I have found a bunch of found parts that match should anyone want to scratch build.
Toilet float ball, Aladdin thermos, Ribbed PVC connectors, etc.
Also the base is vaccuformed with pretty soft details. I will post of photos I have found of the actual prop soon! (I just don't have them on my work computer)

If you found a good bass let me know. The one I was using has been discontinued.
