Hey all, just cruising through this and clonetroopers.net and a subject of recasting came up several times on CTN. Especially in their charter. Just what is recasting? Isn't every set of armor recasting? I'm not sure what that "title" entails. Can anyone shed some light for this newbie?

Hey all. I was just wondering how y'all store and transport your armor? How do you take it to various deployments in other cities? I'm building my armor in another city and I fly there every other week to work on it. When it's done I'd like to take it home. But I don't think it'll fit in my carryon.

Do y'all recommend using hot glue to install the flat green lenses? If you do, how do you keep your helment eye holes from melting. I'm getting ready to install them but I'm not sure which way to do it. i.e. hot glue, silicone, ca glue, etc.

How do you make the boots fit better? I have a size 8 that I bought from caboots because they don't sell a size 7. So, they're a bit big. How do I fit them better aside from stuffing a sock in the front of the boot.
