  1. I got in on May 3rd and now playing the waiting game. If all is well this will be my clean TK and my current kit will go sandy.
  2. http://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=873283 The family of this young man Alex has asked that we post images or words of support for him on his FB page. Alex was recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and he loved Star Wars and firefighters! Please take a moment to "join Alex's army" and post the image with some words of encouragement on his FB wall and encourage troopers in your garrison / outpost / detachment to do the same. Thank you! http://www.facebook.com/AlexShabman
  3. 1st troop with the new BFG! The rubber Hyperfirm was a good choice, I bonked at least one kid on the head with the barrel!
  4. Heading to a troop in about 1/2 hour. A blue blanket with some straps will have to do.
  5. Personally could not care less that he tweaks the movies and re-releases them. I get to play in the SW sandbox, he should be able to as well IMHO. I'm just happy the movies, all six, were made in the first place.
  6. Yep, http://www.ebay.com/itm/High-Sierra-Ski-Bag-Small-Black-/150744037972#vi-content Mostly kidding re: the gun bag. For the areas we troop it will be much easier to have this than a gun case or rifle bag.
  7. I live in Georgia, that's not neccesarily an advantage. It looks good, too bad I have to order online. Nothing in stock around here. I do like that it will be lightweight and I can fashion some padding for the ends with the extra space.
  8. This one seems like it would fit the bill. Is this what you guys are using? Fits skis up to 150cm (59") http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4421664&mr:trackingCode=CC1110D0-2938-E111-B2D2-001B21631C34&mr:referralID=NA
  9. I'm now the proud owner of a Hyperfirm DLT-19 and want to find a transport case for this thing. I've looked at some inexpensive hard shell gun cases, but am having a hard time finding one deep enough. I figure it has to be about 5" x 51" 10" inside. What are other DLT-19 owners using?
  10. Mine is holstered then placed in a plastic bag. It's in my armor bin in such a way that I don't feel it will damage or get damaged. I am now searching for a hard case for my Hyperfirm DLT-19 that should be along next week. If I can I'll get one that will accomodate the e-11 along with the DLT-19.
  11. Is this a kit (for the e-11 or sterling) that is available for purchase? I wants the precious!
  12. I saw an auction of theirs on ebay for some items. I just asked them about shipping / price on the DLT-19 .. we'll see. Here's the info from their site about the reason for not shipping. If accurate it likely is a good reason not to ship as that would make the cost prohibitive. Please note that customers outside they uk should contact us first before ordering as the cost of shipping can be quite high to certain countries even though the actual item weighs less than 3kg all international parcels are measured on their volumetric weight for shipping which is roughly 10kg which can make shipping overseas £50+ however we do have a courier who will ship to certain countries in europe quite cheaply. around £23.00 to Germany as an example so if you are outside the uk and interested please get in touch with your destination details we may be able to get a very good quote for shipping We cannot ship this particular item to the United States or Australia as shipping comes to almost the same cost as the blaster.
  13. To the first poster, are you in the states? If so I'll be interested to hear the shipping details etc. I'm considering this one as well but they say they don't even ship to the US.

  15. Hello all. James aka: TK-9447 here to browse the forums and find out some info about your gear as I'm interested in pursuing a Heavy Trooper setup for my rig. Found some great info already, look forward to seeing more! Here's a snapshot of me with the LCO (Vader) at our X-mas parade last weekend. It was a stone blast!
