Hello Sandy Brothers and Sisters, 

I wanted to share that I’ve decided not to run for MEPD Detachment Leader again. I firmly believe that things should change of every few years to give other people a chance to bring something to the table. I’ve been trying to get someone from my command staff to run for the last couple of years because I believe the new leadership should come from within the command staff. I now have a command member running and also a newcomer running for the position. So I wish them both well in the elections.
Serving in this role has been an incredibly meaningful experience, and I’m truly thankful for the encouragement, support, and teamwork I’ve received along the way. I’ve learned a great deal and am proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and making this experience so rewarding. I’m grateful to have worked with such a dedicated group of people and look forward to cheering you on in the future.
