Rogue Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Name: Heather Elliott Legion ID: TD-42193 Forum Name: Rogue Garrison: Old Line Garrison Trooper Emulated: Alley Check Captain with E-11 Deployed Police Officer: yes Growing up, A New Hope was my favorite film. Before I joined the 501st Legion, I knew I wanted to be a Sandtrooper with MEPD. I knew I wanted someone unique to model after, so I chose the Alley Check Captain. What's unique about this trooper is that the build for the backpack needed to be modified from the standard "Move Along Pack" ... The black and blue bins need to be swapped in a varied combination and had up to two Spanish small pouches. One of the challenges for me seemed to be shooting the angle right. I'm a little short for a trooper, 5'3" (63cm), so getting the angle to match was a bit harder than I had anticipated. Because of the size variation, matching the exact proportions and angles were particularly difficult. 2) Armor at various angles: Quote

Visible fasteners under crotch area. Two (or 3) male snaps in the back and one split rivet or brad in the front. Rogue Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 5) Action Poses, Scene Replication: I believe this is the same trooper as seen by the matching weathering on his chest armor and helmet but with two different weapons Cantina Attention (48m36s to 48m51s), DLT-19: Alley Search (50m54s to 51m04s), E-11: **Please note, while taking my submission photos we broke my E-11, so I had to use my Hasboro blaster as a backup. Happy to retake these with the correct E-11 once reprinted/painted etc (in photos above). 1 Quote
Vf2112 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 @ Heather Thank you for your interest in joining the Elite and submitting your request for SWAT OFFICER Activation. During this process, details will need to be even more fine tuned in comparison to past SWAT members. The bar is always being set higher. Your enthusiasm towards becoming a SWAT Officer is noted. Command Staff needs to point out here in the preliminary stages that although your armor may have passed Standard Officer status, your armor and gear will need a lot of re-works and heavy mods to clear SWAT. You may want to compare notes and ask for guidance from these previous SWAT Applicants who have attempted this particular Screen TD (ALLEYWAY CAPTAIN) and were cleared & activated. Their advice will definitely help you reach your goal properly: As stated before, we always stress PATIENCE during this process as we pay more and more attention to the gear of each new SWAT applicant. The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armor / gear a full inspection and review. Some details may definitely be missed and re-checked, but we will try to catch them on every pass given until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team! If you are up to what is shaping up to be a challenging task, then let's begin... Quote

Vf2112 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Nice start Heather let me get some pics together and we'll go over all the needing attention Cheers Vince Quote
Vf2112 Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) Ok Firstly thanks for the pics Quite a bit to do here still, * HELMET your helmet looks good didnt realize youd finished I'm sorry or I'd of mentioned sooner, still missing the joker grin (pics below) * ARMOR Good work on shoulder straps and chest pattern looks good to me, snap on right side and adjustment looks spot on. Everything else still needs work. Your neck seal unapprovable sorry to say needs to be leather or look like leather(e.g. vinyl ) and be ribbed, this appears to be cloth, with lines sewn in it. ( not very good shot but pic below can see clearly in movie at time pic taken) Still need long strap on small pouch that is attached to shoulder pouch.( pics below) Shoulder pouch still needs blocks to fill pouches and stop them collapsing in. Shoulder pouch with the close up pics definitely needs a lot of weathering also. (Pic below) Thighs stil need to be replaced or modified heavily at the top, as they dont match screen trooper( pic below) Sniper plate- I see you moved you calf up to raise sniper plate, that's only made the bottom of calf sit way to high and not match designated trooper (included in pics below) you need to physically move the sniper plate higher on your calf so top of calf is a bit below halfway of middle of sniper plate. (Pic below) https://1drv.ms/f/c/E9691DD4B7387089/IgBO0VkKwtofTbR43nsdm6FZARRhpwp-kB8nz3sQ5Q-Oxjo Thank you for resubmitting pics Results here pending further adjustments Once those are completed and your weapon and backpack adjustment have been done we can start round 2 of submission. Just remember once you feel you've done all required changes, you need to resubmit all pics front-helmet on and off, back-pack on pack off, sides with arms up n down, pack on for side shots, for us to begin round 2. Please reach out if anything isn't clear to you Cheers Vince Edited February 11 by Vf2112 Typos Quote
