bigwam Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Hi Heather, Overall, this is looking quite good. Regarding the radio: please spray the Sonix sticker black; it isn't visible as is. As for the dial at the top, that’s a tricky spot. One can just about make something out there, so let's leave it as is. On the blaster: please lightly sand down and soften the "seam" on the rear section. It is meant to simulate a casting seam—since, back in the day, the rear section of the Sterling was replaced with a solid cast piece for film production purposes. That seam isn't quite as pronounced (see number 6 in the image). Finally, I’d like to ask you to put everything on again to ensure that all the pieces coordinate well with one another. Quote

trooper1 Posted May 11 Posted May 11 Heather, Sorry I am late to the party and congrats on you move to go SWAT. Not an easy task at all but definitely achievable. Keep up the great work. Couple of questions. the helmet traps. the black pin striping is painted on correct? Just wondering because the lines are very smooth and precise. Very good job if so, since they need to be. Everything else has been asked I think. Thomas asked about the weathering and I too would say to weather the pouches if you havent done so. Good Luck. Shouldnt be long now. Quote
Rogue Posted May 12 Author Posted May 12 @trooper1 thank you!!! Yes, the traps on my helmet were hand painted. Thank you for noticing! Took a while to get the accuracy just right. Pouches have been weathered as well. They’re covered in dirt. Hand stomped them in: Quote
