i am hoping to by next week as the last parts came all i have to do is weather them then off for clearance with UKG.

Also once approved with UKG what do i do? just request here for clearance?

Make sure that in your 501st profile you'll add the MEPD as affeliated detachment so I can approve you/ add you to the official roster.

And yes, when you think you're up for it request a status change here( it's free ), from member into sandtrooper/ magmatrooper....and maybe take the challenge to apply for Police Officer/ SWAT.

And i am now approved and officially the first magma  how would i go about for a magma PO? is it the same as a sandy?

Pretty much! Just follow the level 2 requirements as laid out in the CRL http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TD_Magma_Trooper_-_Battlefront

Congrats dude.  I would also go for the Magmatrooper approval, but I do not want to retire my HWT.
