3D Files for Field Pack - 3D Printing

If you have been following my previous posts you'll see I have been working on 3D printable files for a lot of the backpack parts.

I want these to be available to everyone, and allow people to update the files as they need.  They are all a work in progress. The more I learn, the more accurate I can make them. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide free 3d printable files for all field pack styles. It will be a long process but i think this is a good start. I will be sure to make note of when things are updated. If you made any modifications, or make your own parts, please post them here and I will add them to the list!

Here are a few links to the ones created so far!

I printed the Canteen  (3D file by Henslemonster) last night.  I used one of my Hatchbox Alpha machines set to high quality PLA.  Turned out pretty good.  Going to paint it and post it on here to get everyone's thoughts.  I love the idea that I will not have to go through the painstaking process of making the canteens again.

As soon as my filament arrives, I will print the other 2 parts on post pictures on here of the final products.

Henslemonster did a good job on the files, can't wait to see the others.

Don't worry! Working on a sales thread for all my backpack parts, as well as the electrobinoculars!

This is an updated 3D rendering.  Going to try a test print tomorrow night once new filament arrives.

Made it more rounded.

That looks great. Last thing I would recommend is ditching the cap and making the mouth of the cantine solid. That's where the hole is drilled and the tube or bee stinger is inserted.

Sure. No problem.

Below is a link to a version I have been working on and I use on the packs I sell.  I like the way John's is coming along also.  Looks a little more rounded.  I cannot upload files to Thingiverse, so I have them in Googledrive.  I have 3 large printers and can print these for people if they want them.

Here is a 3D rendering.

This is a picture of it on a pack that was just sent to Michael in Australia.

This picture shows the version with the cap.  The cap has since been removed and a whole the correct size for the bee stinger has been added.

Done.  I will post a picture of the reprinted portion when I build my next pack.  I have 3 pack orders in the pipeline.  I did post the 3D model, though.

Has anyone tried printing the Shire's Style Siphon yet?  I was thinking about giving it a shot and was wondering if it came out ok.

If you make one, let me know! I am looking for one and if I can get one stateside, that'd be great.
