  1. This is the solution I think I am going with. And using a bungee cord over my armor crate.
  2. Stay away from them! Terrible terrible stuff.
  3. I am still convinced we're using the wrong search terms as nearly everything we search for leads back to this forum.
  4. The actual Sonix folks have been bought a few times over and mainly make USB parts. I reached out to their American rep and two things are clear. 1. He has no clue about any of the details of the manufacturing process behind this old unit. Its a dead end. 2. He thinks I am very much insane.
  5. So far every single email I've sent about this radio has turned up nothing. A few replies from people having no idea about this radio, the rest are no replies.

I absolutely agree and understand about the level of ease. My worry is that is can be frustrating when there is a level of preciseness attached and the requirements are at times vague. That by itself is fine but when you consider the sheer cost and difficulty acquiring some of these items. That is a level that might keep a some out. However, if that is a filter you want in place then by all means it is no longer a problem. Perhaps as long as the big crucial stuff that can't be fixed are clearly explained visually then everything else is fine. The only thing I am still unclear on to this day is what exactly makes something a Bapty. I guess I would just like something a bit more clear, especially when you can sink a ton of cash into something like a hengstler counter or a M38 scope. That's the only thing that makes me hesitant.

I definitely look at the SWAT approval apps. But there is nothing like a clear and consistent guide to go by.

I am working hard at achieving this. Is there any way we can get some more photos to go along with the CRL? It is a huge help when I see pictures with a circle and an arrow pointing out a specific requirement.
  10. Here is some places to get the paint http://www.lowvolumepowder.com/RAL-7031-12-Oz-Touch-Up-Paint http://www.army-paint.com/products/spraycans-400ml http://www.amazon.com/Krylon-RTA9206-Battleship-Preventive-Enamel/dp/B0009XCKRY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462804369&sr=8-1&keywords=battleship+gray+paint
  11. More perspectives, more resources and different approaches do nothing but make a subject better. This will do nothing but strengthen the overall SandTrooper concept. My only thing is I think all of us, especially the higher ups, needs to get better at recruiting some boring TK's to get dirty.
  12. Fantastic! I can't wait to see the step by step!
