My 3D printed RT-97c
sand_fox_trooper replied to Volksjager's topic in T-21, DLT-19, RT-97c Heavy Blasters
Very kind Rocko; I wanted to try thermoforming the piece in HIPS, but I doubt that it will also look like the originals, so it is worth buying. -
My 3D printed RT-97c
sand_fox_trooper replied to Volksjager's topic in T-21, DLT-19, RT-97c Heavy Blasters
Thank you very much for explaining your painting process I have not used Scale ModellersSupply SMS and Rustoleum paints; Vallejo Spanish paintings are more familiar to me. The finish of the handle and the bakelite piece, the best. I would love to be able to read your garrison's forum information. -
My 3D printed RT-97c
sand_fox_trooper replied to Volksjager's topic in T-21, DLT-19, RT-97c Heavy Blasters
Very good paint job; very realistic. I join the request for information on the paintings used. The effects of wear are very well achieved. I am still finishing the construction of mine, a hybrid between PVC, Forex and 3D printed parts. I see that the 3dpropsNL kit includes the rubber part of the snooper scope ... What luck, I will have to make one, as well as the transparent one of the "Single Point". Work like this inspires us; thanks. -
A brief description: "This equipment was designed to prevent the Village Inn Automatic Gun Laying Turret (AGLT) from shooting down British aircraft. Special 'Z' transmissions were sent via Infra-red from other aircraft in the bomber stream. When these were received by AGLT, the turret would withhold fire" http://www.raf-surplus.co.uk/10-radio-and-radar-equipment.php ask in this forum: http://hmvf.co.uk/topic/322-tabby/ About this "top secret" device : https://arnhemjim.blogspot.com/2011/04/wwii-cutting-edge-night-vision.html (healthy envy; meanwhile we continue to build our viewers thanks to your photos)

orange pauldron and rt97c together?
sand_fox_trooper replied to sand_fox_trooper's topic in Sandtrooper Armor
Thanks guys!! Is also interesting that the rt97c has a carrying strap that is not seen in other scenes. I'm happy, I like the orange puldron and was almost convinced to wear a white or black with RT97c; now I can choose ... I found a better image: http://starwarsaficionado.blogspot.com.es/2014/02/behind-scenes-docking-bay-94-aftermath.html -
Hello, i was reading "Captain-Orange pauldron TD breakdown" from Pandatrooper, and i have a doubt looking this pic: http://www.looksirdroids.com/hd_caps/pages/sandtrooper_hd_113.htm The sandtrooper behind the boxes ¿is holding a RT97c? Also if wears an orange pauldron, we could include a combination more... Happy new year 2015!!

What a good-looking!! How have you done to reduce the diameter... with sandpaper maybe?

Any high quality mg15 references?
sand_fox_trooper replied to deadvision's topic in T-21, DLT-19, RT-97c Heavy Blasters
So I also look for the sale of spare parts , the seller usually includes more detailed pictures to help. I'm interested in the link page five the closing plug http://www.mg42.us/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=9650&start=80 It should have been more precise in giving the reference , sorry -

Hello Deadvision; Test first with IMA-USA http://www.ima-usa.com/nation/german-militaria/german-machine-guns/mg-15.html And then on auction sites like http://www.icollector.com/GERMAN-MG15-AIRCRAFT-MACHINE-GUN-DEWAT-C-R_i15605256 A good place is this forum: http://www.mg42.us/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=9650&start=380 or deactivaded guns... http://www.deactivated-guns.co.uk/detail/mg15_2.htm The list can be endless ; but above all do not forget the original sources: http://www.deutscheluftwaffe.de/archiv/Dokumente/web/new%20site/frames2/Dokumente.htm I hope you find them useful -

Hello, my name is Peter, Sand_fox_trooper. I have no armor yet, well, actually I have a costume made of EVA foam. It was a first step, and really helped me learn about the details of the stormtrooper armor. So, I joined the "Tropa Korriban" Star Wars Galicia Spain; and I began to develop improved plans for thermoforming our own armor, on May 25, 2013, we have our main event. This week I'm riding my first Sandtrooper armor, and I hope this year we can renew my plans with all molds and thermoforming best pieces. I hope to continue learning from MEPD, as I step into a true full Sandtrooper armor. Thank you all for having me.

To Iconoclasta_88 "We once thought that his E11 had no counter, but now I think it does. Or at least it looks like it could have had it in some shots." You are right; You can check for the presence of the counter http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ The stills are from "Star Wars, The Deleted Magic"; a good primary source. It´s a way of thanking the good information and advice that I always find in MEPD Thanks/Gracias (Gracias por toda la buena información y consejos que siempre encuentro en MEPD)
