  1. Looking real sharp! Nice work!
  2. Hey all. My name is Luke, BH2622. And I joined a few weeks ago. Still absorbing a bunch of info. here. Can't wait to finish my TD. Thanks for havin' me!
  3. Congrats man! btw- silly question, how does one look at an issue?
  4. Yeah, those buckets are straight up amazing! Too cool!
  5. Hey guys, thanks for the comments. They are much appreciated! As for the buttons, I guess they are about the right size. They seemed a little big at first, but the more I see 'em, the more I like 'em. The buttons themselves, they are silver buttons I got from Michaels crafts. I cut the backs of them down a little bit, so they didn't protrude as much.
  6. Hey all, well since my 1st post last week, I've gotten a little more done in terms of gettin' dirty. I finished up my full back armor, ab armor, my calves, thighs, and the box belt & thigh boxes. I'm pretty stoked on how the calves & ab plate came out. I also made my own corrected Ab plate, out of sintra. I made the ab buttons too, but they seem a little big, whattya think ? Some of the weathering, if you look close on some of the pieces, has real sand glued to it. I know that sounds like it could be weird, but, I did it real light, and just in the nooks & crannies of the armor. And, I think it's cool. Nothing is glued together yet. I'm working on glue tonight. The thighs & calves seen together in the pics are just taped together for reference. Thanks for looking, and if anyone has any criticism, good, bad, ugly, I'd like to hear. Well, here are the pics! Click on images to enlarge!
  7. The redeeming quality about this figure, is the lil' Boba holo-projector figure.
  8. Thanks for the replies everyone. It's much appreciated! I can only hope to get my suit up to par, so I can be called an MEPD TD. I've seen on some great suits on here so far. Thanks for the inspiration!
  9. Right on! An Oregonian huh? Always nice to see! Thanks for the comments!
  10. Hey thanks for the kind words. I had to come over and introduce myself, after you told me about this place. There seems to be a good group of people here, and a wealth of info. Again, glad to be here!
  11. Hey all, just wanted to drop a hello. I am new to the boards here. My name is Luke, I am from Garrison Titan up in Seattle. I have a couple buddies from there, and Cloud City Garrison that referred me over here. I have an ESB Fett that I troop with. But, recently purchased a set of FX stormie armor. I am working on converting it to TD(and more specifically an MEPD TD ). I am going to get a smaller, more accurate bucket, and modify my FX suit, so it is a little more accurate. I've been working on my weathering on my armor, and bucket. I don't plan to use this FX bucket for trooping, but it's a nice learning tool, and is going to be a shelf display. So, I decided that my first post should bring something to the table, so here is my armor so far. Progress pics. If anyone has any comments, criticiscm, tips, advice, that stuff is always appreciated! Anywho, thanks for looking, and I can't wait to be deployed by the MEPD! Click on pics to enlarge 'em! I included a pic of my Fett too, for good measure
