Hi guys,

hope you can help me... I'm searching informations, pics and names from the guys who played the "move along" scene with Anthony Forrest.

Last event, I was approached from a guy who say... he played a Sandtrooper in the "move along" scene!

His story: it was not planed, he was in holiday in Tunesia and meet there a school friend. They went to eat something, the friend tell him they are making a science fiction movie and ask him if he want to play a static Sandtrooper! He acepted... So he wear a costume, it was not confortable and it hurt him in many places. He have no idea how or what to make during the action....

His name is Peter Dowsett, unfortunately he isn't credited in the movie...

What you think about this?

I was excited about Brian Matias' concept drawings and designs for the series "The Mandalorian". I particularly liked the Concept Remnant Trooper. After RS had already implemented these - but weren't quite true to the original - I wanted to build a trooper like that myself. This is the result.

Hello my name is Ruggers. I haven’t been on the forums much because I haven’t felt the need to since the pandemic started and I was approved right before it all happened. I’ve been on the forums a couple times this past year to look up information on a dewback prod. I checked in again today just to see how everyone is doing but, to my surprise I notice either no one posts lately or not many people log in at all.

I find all that concerning because for new members looking for answers to questions about the detachment and possible costuming, they may not get the help they need. So I hope for 2023 more people will get on and keep an eye out for questions from new members. Thank you.

Sandtrooper in Tusken Raider disguise

Hey everyone, this is just for fun:
I can still remember seeing this picture

and I always loved it, although the Tusken Raider as a character was never that appealing to me, but when a friend of mine who is also a member of the MEPD and our little Rancor Hunters Squad, Markus Zeitvogel, started making his own kits, I wanted to try it... and man do I appreciate this character now. Building the helmet was so much fun. I am not going to do the full costume but now I have a helmet should I ever want to do the Sandtrooper in Tusken Raider disguise.
I have actually tried to build this helmet emulating the Hero Tusken portrayed by stunt coordinator Peter Diamond.

Just a quick note to let you all know that trooperbay is now password protected. The password to get into the site is - scruffynerfherder

At this time, I only want people in our community to have access to the site. Please feel free to share the password with other members and new recruits that may need stuff.

My reasoning for doing this is simply to limit the google bots and...."general public" from seeing all the sites content. I made trooperbay for US and not the random person doing a search on google. By protecting the site, I hope to keep trooperbay going, and continue servicing our group. If you forget the password you can just go to the site and message me directly by clicking on "chat with us" at the bottom right hand side of the screen. The last two years have been a bit quieter, so now it's time to get back on track. We wish everyone some nice Troops next year.
Above all, fill the forum with life again: post pictures of troops, construction reports, found parts - everything that belongs and fits to the Sandtrooper topic and that comes to your mind.
Enjoy the few days off, maybe one or the other is on vacation, stay healthy and above all stay as you are.
