First arrest was a BIG one

Was patroling the Capital when we spotted the Wookie Chewbacca…..we immediately took action and secured the area, he promised not to use his weapon so we let him keep it.

That`s my son to the right, he insists on staying on the Death star most of the times….

Rest of the Patrol was mostly to stay on post keeping the Citizens on a thight leash...eeeh..I mean happy and safe celebrating the Empire.

Please post here indicating which award you are applying for (Emperor's Roughnecks 25, Emperor's Roughnecks 50, or Emperor's Roughnecks 100) and post a link to your Tour of Duty thread showcasing a list of your events and pictures of said events. Command staff will review your thread and grant you your award and keep track down below.

MEPD 2023 Trooping Incentive

March 1, 2023 starts the beginning of a new detachment trooping initiative for MEPD. HUGE thank you to our brothers and sisters over at Krayt Clan for allowing us to share their incentive program idea.

3 TROOPS are needed to qualify for the reward. Even if you only have one troop, please post to support your detachment. if we don't hit 501 total troops combined, there are no special consolation prizes. Get out there and troop and represent MEPD to earn a cool incentive!

If we reach the 501 troop count we will create an exclusive patch----- any one who posts over 3 troops will be allowed to purchase! Anyone who posts 25+ troops will receive one patch free, plus be allowed to purchase more.

Rules for 2023:

1. ***CLICK HERE TO ENTER YOUR TROOPS INTO THE TRACKER! THIS LINE IS A LINK!***

2. You MUST have a picture of you at the troop in a approved MEPD Costume (just take a selfie if there are no photographers)

A direct link to a web hosting site is ok--. a click and the picture must appear. Please do NOT directly upload your photo to the forum!

2. You MUST post the picture and troop name to this thread (no cross referencing to other threads) so that the data entered in the spreadsheet can be validated. Please continue to update your Tour of Duty threads, though.

3. You MUST be an Active MEPD Member and list your TD#.

4. You MUST have an account on the MEPD forums or your troops will not be credited.

5. You MUST enter your own troops!

6. You MUST enter your troops by no later than January 15, 2024 for them to count!

7. Virtual troops count! Just post a screen shot as your photo!

8. Children with Galactic Academy CDZ numbers will NOT count towards our numbers and will NOT be eligible for the incentive rewards due to 501st merchandise rules.

Well, first troop of my life ever and yes, it was exciting, frustrating, interesting, instructive and many more things at the same time. It was a birthday suprise for a little girl who is a big Star Wars fan and knows all the planets, characters and ships eventhough she just turned 8. Parenting done right!

Till that day I only wore the armor for taking pictures but I just realized some things I have to tweak before the next time. First of all fixing the strapping for the backpack to the frame. The whole thing slipped all the time and due this the shoulder armor popped of all the time. This is the first thing that needs some attention and should be an easy fix. Next is adjusting the whole strapping a little and some minor fixes with the aker. The cable of the mic slipped through the chest plate while trooping.

But overall it was great. And the little girl was a big Vader fan and as you can imaging she was blown away as Lord Vader appeared at the scene. The party was at a local bowling center and yeah... Dressing was upstairs and no elevator... Walking down the stairs like a living dead because "i can't see anything in this helmet" - something you need to get used
