Hi,

yesterday I saw this website: http://joerg-wegmann.de/ba/

Seems that they're selling a 90% "full-working" (it doesn't fire for real ;) ) aluminium replica of an E-11

Any of You have some info about it? Has someone purchased a replica from them and wants to share his impressions?

Thanks,

Alberto

Never heard of this, although I live in Germany - but that doesn't mean anything.

This site was launched in September 2010 and seems to be a bit outdated, as the latest comment I found is from July 2012.

However, there is an option to contact the maker for price info and availability. So if you want to give it a try...

Dude ....I know this replica and I have this one of Jörg. Well...it's a replica and fully functional. Here are a few pics of them--->>

But this blaster that I have is already presumably an older version....and the price was 300€

But like I wrote...this is an older version. Presumably he has updated the details and the price is higher or not...I don't know. Sent him an email and ask about it.

Ok...about the price for a real one it's not too far away ...but nevertheless it's a really good work...good old german craftmanship, you know

Incl in the price is the --->>

*Blaster
*Scope

*Range finder

Not incl is--->>

*Hengstler Counter

*T-Tracks

The only thing that I don't like it, is the magazine...but with a real one it's in good condition.

With a bit updates on it, it's a good blaster replica

Cheers...

Update by my side...actually I'm on the updates for the blaster...incl a new paint etc etc...and I want to sell it. If you're interest and I'm finished with it, you can buy it, if you want. Naturally if you see the end results of it ;-)

Nevertheless you can wait for the answer of Jörg.

Best,

Dan

I also saw today Messika's Website and the only blaster seen there is this one: http://www.moviefx-business.com/Stormtrooper/Stormtrooper-3/Blaster.html

... but the pictures resolution is not so great.

Yap...to little meaningful pics of this blaster...and btw....an RotJ blaster is not a cast of the sterling that we all know...it's a cast of an canadian sterling and which is not possible with this variant which is described. I would say it's a complete resin cast of the MFX company. Well, then I can order a "DoopyDoos" with much more incl details ;)

And whooooo...the kit costs 150€ (which have not all functional details like the Wegmann-Blaster) ...then you're better served with a kit from DoopyDoos (ca 55€) which is also a resin cast.

Yep, mine:-)

Kssssssshhhh...move along, dude....

I want to sell him MY blaster....so...go this way. here's nothing to see :teehee:

Joke aside...you want a metal functional one, or?!?

If you like the resin one...then you need a Felix one

I got a reply to my original email... here it is:

Hello Alberto,

sorry for the delay, was kinda busy last few days.

Yes the blaster is available. Pricing is 350 EUR (excl. shipping and handling. Something around 25-30 EUR depending on which region in italy you live).

Within the packet is a Sterling/E-11 replica made of aluminium and steel with a working folding stock, attached scope (no optical function), a detachable magazin, a greeble for the magazin slot and a working trigger with safety switch.

The completion will take around 4 weeks. Payment is possible via bank account (IBAN/SWIFT) and will be payable after the blaster is finished and ready to ship.

What is not included is the Hengstler counter and the tubestripes on the barrel. A tip for the tubestripes. I got mine from a MEPD member which was from malaysia and had access to some vintage drawer guide rail made of platic. Metal T-profiles from a local DIY market or something similar is also sufficient. Don't waste your money on windscreen wiper. They're way to instable and will wobbeling around on the barrel.

Cheers,

Jörg |TD-607
