The gaps between the Ab and Kidney plate need shimming I can shim with equivalent ABS sheets, but I wanted to know if it's acceptable to use a 4" strip of white elastic strapping ? Purplehaze Posted October 1, 2015 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Hi Lee, I used white Leather type material, once it is weathered & your ammo pouches are on you can't really tell that the shims are there. Airborne Trooper Posted October 2, 2015 Share Posted October 2, 2015 I shimmed with ABS and bonded it together with ABS paste. Then I sanded it down to blend the piece together.
