  1. Much better. Your belt needs to come down in the back. You can bring the back plate up a bit so that it's more or less sitting on the kidney (I have about a 1/4 inch gap on mine). It looks like you need to shorten the shoulder straps. That will be about perfect.
  2. I would cut the cod as a LAST option. Post the side/arms up pics and we'll work from there. As a GML, I personally wouldn't pass it with a gap that big. As others said, the butt plate looks too low, and the cod really is "right up in there" normally, just like an athletic cup, I suppose.
  3. Are you SURE the kidney and ab are aligned correctly? On my kit, I wear the belt pretty much on the bottom of the kidney plate--yours is about the same difference up from that as your gap is wide. Can you post a side view picture?
  4. My question also....it didn't on my machine. Tried clearing cache, etc. still there.
  5. What pouch is this? Trooperbay has them, but calls them "Small Spanish" pouches....
  6. I just used CA glue. Almost 2 years and no separation issues.
  7. Heh, I'm a dork. I did the exact same loop, only I have been hanging it off the shoulder bell strap (which pulls it down noticeably). Never even thought about hanging it there!
  8. I got mine from "fabricators" (the two-pack canvas ones, didn't use the one without the small pouch). They have several listings for the same style but different colors. Browse what they have. I went with 2 small spanish pouches I got from blaster8266.
  9. I've only worn the custom one once, but I kind of prefer the velcro because I could make it a little tighter. I can't speak for screen accuracy...they look the same to me. Others will have to add to that.
  10. I have a white Trooperbay one and a custom "dewback" one from Trooper1. The only difference I have noticed really is that Trooper1 has an elastic band to go around your arm, while the Trooperbay one uses two straps that velcro together.
  11. I have done it two ways, but a third way that one of my garrison mates uses is a better option. 1. I found some full length velcro wrap-strap. I looped it through the pouch loops and wore it around my shoulder. The problem with that was the loop would roll around and the pouch would drop out of position. 2. I thought myself clever and used velcro right to my chest--industrial adhesive type. That worked great until the heat loosened up the adhesive. 3. A buddy in the DSG showed me what he does: A small velcro loop through the pouch loop and around the shoulder bell strap. It seems to stay in place without pulling down on the shoulder bell. EDIT: Just like bdgr above said.
  12. No Sandtrooper in the movie had a holster. Therefore, it is not allowed for approval at any level. A backpack is not required to wear the shoulder pouch, although it makes it a lot easier to wear.
  13. I have been getting this stuff at the top of the screen since before this latest SNAFU. Since the site came back online last week, but before the issues this week.
  14. Nice choice! I was originally going to go up to SWAT with this trooper. I built my TD using the reference picture from the gallery, but as you have found, the shoulder pouch and pauldron are actually different. I'm happy with my build, but will most likely not go for SWAT as-is. Maybe one day I'll get the leather MP40 pouch and the seamless pauldron.
