DLT-19 Weathering Advise Please:

With mine, I painted the whole thing gunmetal silver, then dry brushed the whole thing satin black. The butt stock is painted a reddish brown, then I rubbed in black with a sponge, pulling it all in one direction so it looks kindaile wood grain

just an example....I'm a fan of a smooth weapon weathering because i think weapons should not look so dirty. They have to be functional;-)

Some silver scratches are fine....

Hi Rick,

There're no restircted rules about the weathering but on the stock, that has to be Bakelite rather than wood looking

also as you can see some parts come with a slightly brownish colour others like the grip in glossy black.
