  2. received this 3 button from Walt. I think we have a winner for the ANOVOS armor
  3. I picked up these from my local lowes. I opted for the 5/16 #6, they provided the best compromise to accuracy i think. and you can get them in white here they are on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Leviton-C22-88400-Prt-White-Wallplate-Screws/dp/B002EPZ73Y/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1455716238&sr=8-6&keywords=wall+plate+screws however if you go to lowes or home depot you can grab nuts and washers to go with them.
  4. Got a new 3 button on the way from Walt! I will post up the difference in size when it arrives
  5. Starting to come together all the armor is trimmed and what needs to be assembled is assembled! Time to start working the straps!
  6. working my anovos build. I modified the 4 button that came with the kit to a 3 button. It is not permanent. I think it is too short and the buttons are need to be bigger. Which means it wont fly for swat. what do you think? You can also make out i added the small dimple in the middle of button in the center ab piece.
  7. disassembly was very easy. back off the nuts, remove the bolts and done, The brow band is glued in a few places, so be careful with that so you dont tear it. If mine is too high for the white ear helmet I will lower it. It isnt hard.
  8. more helmet work initial paint is all done. all thats left to do here is the weathering now. that will take place when all the armor is completed. now onto the armor! thighs and calves are put together. Glue got a little sloppy but it will clean up with some paint thinner. I am going to hold off putting the outer straps of plastic on until everything is trimmed and test fitted. I like putting the armor together from the inside. It gives me a better long term hold and it makes the construction process easier overall. now onto trimming and putting together the forearms and bicepts
  9. Armor came in, I started to with the helmet first. This is the before... I disassembled it and began removing the decals for repaint. I used non-acetone fingernail polish removal. It took some work, time, and a lot of patience. I forgot to take pics of the helmet with all the paint removed. sorry I have already re-assembled the helmet and repainted the gray inlays. I will paint the black trim later this week along with the tube stripes. I have a decal template on order for the tube stripes. I did redo the inside of the helmet and afix the visor correctly according to canon.
  10. my ANOVOS armor will be here on the 26th. Finally this build will start to gain some momentum.
