Felice
Hi Gary, looking good so far. The only thing i would to modify is the bucket and the pauldron weathering. both do not match to the rest of the armor painting. Good luck!!!! Baron
I swear in person the helmet is dirtier, and even the pauldron, but a little more cant hurt

Vf2112
Looks awesome bro top to bottom and I love that blaster Only thing caught my eye was were the ab n kidney meet at male snap , doesn't line up real we'll not sure if this is a problem for officer?
Smally
No this won't be a problem for PO status, you should be all good. May I just suggest getting a doopys blaster kit to replace you Hasbro at some point, Gary. You've done such a good job on you armour build that you deserve a more accurate E-11. Go on, treat yourself
SCRIBBLER
@ Gary - Welcome and thanks for your interest in becoming an MEPD Deployed Officer! Let's begin...APPLICATION REVIEW (PART 1)Name: Gary HoweLegion ID #: TD-369Forum Name: Tk-369*Garrison: Southern California GarrisonI.) HELMET:a.) Green Lenses -- CHECKb.) Paint Color on Traps / Tears -- CHECKc.) Correct Number Of Teeth -- (SEE COMMENTS)d.) Mic Tips -- CHECKe.) Vocoder Color (Black) -- CHECKf.) Tube Stripes -- CHECKg.) Rank Bar -- CHECKh.) Brow -- CHECKi.) Side Screws (Ears): CHECK j.) Weathering: CHECK (SEE COMMENTS)** Additional Comments -- A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Nice looking bucket, Troop! Only thing that really stands out is the paint detail in the teeth area. It just needs a bit cleaning up and needs to match the appearance of the reference pic. (Try to keep the grey on the teeth only)I also suggest that you weather the helmet a little bit more. It may also be the lighting that makes the detailing appear lighter , biut it never hurts to get dirtier. ** PENDING **II.) Armor / Suit Details:a.) Canvas / Elastic Straps -- CHECKb.) Neck Seal -- CHECKc.) Black Undersuit -- CHECKd.) Shoulder Bells -- CHECKe.) Biceps -- CHECKf.) Forearms -- CHECKg.) Pauldron -- (SEE COMMENTS)h.) Chest / Back Plate -- CHECKI.) Weathering -- CHECK ** Additional Comments -- A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Excellent job on your armor and gear! So far, everything looks great for Standard Officer Deployment.Items of note 1.) : You just need to weather the pauldron a little bit more (Could just be the lighting) and the back of your waist canvas belt needs to be weathered more as well. A little too 'clean' still. 2.) To get rid of the flimsy appearance of the shoulder pouch, you might want to insert some wood blocks in the pockets to give it a sturdier look. 3.) Although currently acceptable, your waist pouch will need to be upgraded at some point. The French pouch will be phased out soon for MEPD Standard. ** PENDING ** III.) BACKPACK: a.) Details -- (SEE COMMENTS) b..) Weathering -- CHECK A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER:Excellent Pack!1.) Some Screen TDs may not have the 'bee stinger' detail, but we suggest it for Standard Officer.2.) Would really like to see an updated pic of the pack sitting just a bit higher on your back. ** PENDING **IV.) WEAPON(S): DLT-19a.) Details -- CHECK (SEE COMMENTS)b..) Weathering -- CHECK A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER:Nice mod on the Hasbro! As stated, you might want to upgrade to a Doopy kit, and eventually get yourself a more accurate looking E-11. (Hyperfirm, etc)*The Hasbro blaster will not clear SWAT. (If you choose to go that path later)** CHECKED & CLEARED ** STAND BY...
Baron
Awsesome! A few things. I will weather up the helmet and pauldron a bit more, kinda planned on it anyway. They are dirtier in person, but I think it needs more of the darker color as I mostly went with a lighter, dirtier look that is lost in the pics, but clearly nothing wrong with it being dirtier And I will clean up the teeth I am working on some PVC blasters. I knew the Hasbro is acceptable for PO, but a better E-11 has always been on the list! I do have the faucet cover for the bee stinger. The bee stinger tip I have is something I made with my 3D printer. I have since re-modeled it to look more like the top of the canteen that everyone seems to agree it may have been. As soon as my part comes in for my printer, I will add it. Does my current Bee Stinger pass? And I am only 5'7". The pack looks a little long on me and rests perfectly on the top of back plate square. I can try to bring it up if need be though And the pouches! I dyed the shoulder pouch and completely forgot to weather it or put something in it! I will fix that! I also figured the waist pouch, which I have had since 2000, would pass for PO, but I definitely plan on upgrading to the real things soon. Thanks and I will have these changes done soon!!! SCRIBBLER
@ Gary - Glad we can be of help! Except for the pending mods, your rig looks great! 1.) The Bee Stinger section is acceptable for MEPD Standard. Just waiting on the stinger itself. But, to push for more accuracy, try to have the top less 'pointy' and more rounded like so... 2.) Just so it does not appear to sag, go ahead and raise the pack an inch or two. (No worries about your height! You are just about the right height for a screen accurate TD) Looking forward to seeing your completed mods and updated weathering details! Baron
I re-modeled it, just waiting to fix my printer so I can print it out, then possibly cast it if others are interested in adding it to their existing faucet covers since I modeled it to fit on top of it. Ignore the cap, it is not needed

Baron
OK, here are some updates...I weathered the Pauldron more and made the circle a little more dominantAlso weathered the belt more...Cleaned up the teeth and weathered the helmet more to match the armor....And added a stinger. I have successfully printed the newly modeled one and am working towards replacing this top.And Weathered the shoulder ammo pouch and added some wood blocks to fill them out I think the only thing I did not do is raise the pack. I trooped on Saturday at LBCC, I was the ONLY Sand Trooper to BTW, and it felt great! I tried to adjust it up a bit, but I don't know if it is the straps or what but it wanted to rest at the top of the back plate. If it still needs to come up to pass, please let me know

Baron
Awesome!!!!! I am gonna be home tonight so I will suit and get a few more pics of the pack higher (I hope) I sprayed another coat of primer on the stinger top. I MAY have some updated pics of it later tonight to. Thanks everyone for al the kind words of encouragement! This is truly an awesome group I am proud to be a part of! Just out of curiosity, aside from the waist pouches and blaster, how does it measure up towards SWAT Move Along? Just looking for feedback....
