  1. What a dirty place this is... who's running this dump these days? Dat Justus better holla!!
  2. Nice new lid, Bobby. dont feel as if the old FX lid is an insult to the 501st. I'll take to back to 2001 when I joined, the only real choice we had back then was FX armour. We wore this with pride and at the time felt it was something very special - it basically started the 501st off and enabled it to grow to the mighty club it is today. Armor FX kit should be looked upon with pride IMO. Although I would always encourage members to strive for accuracy, the most important thing is having fun with all this! best of luck trooper, looking forward to seeing what you do with your gear. Smally.
  3. Congratulations Justus. A firing trooper for the job. We look forward to seeing where you take the mighty MEPD and it's members! Well done to Strider and Scribbler for a enthusiastic and committed run. It was close. Smally.
  4. Okay guys, I've converted the ones that photobucket would allow. However some ofbthe links seem to be broken in that photobucket won't allow me to access the links page. Lee, take a look and see if you can edit your application buy copying and pasting the direct image code over the old links. There could be a fault with photobucket as its not the most reliable site, but hey, its free!
  5. As I posted on the similar thread: As Juan has already stated, Tunisia 76 is not officially part of the MEPD/501st. The creators are 501st members but are not armourers or staff so please just bare this in mind if you decide you wish to participate in their programme alongside the mepd PO/SWAT programmes.
  6. Best pack build yet. This is what the MEPD is all about. Your research into this, as well as the final product speaks volumes, Lee. This is how its done! Now come up to the front of class for you gold sticker.
  7. Troops, As most of you have guessed by now, it is with a heavy heart that I am retiring my position as DO. I informed the command staff of this a couple of weeks ago as I feel I just simply don't have the time for it any more. I tried my best to juggle my work life with the DO role but I just didn't get the time to get on the forum anymore and this wasn't fair on the guys and girls waiting for my response. My job just takes up too much of my life, and what with the Paris attacks of late, I'm only going to get busier. I can only appologise for the delay some of you have had, but as we know, real life comes first. It has been an enjoyable role that I am thankful to the other command staff for entrusting me with and was proud to clear some of you guys, you all look amazing (but you already know that ) I'll still be around the forums, just not as much. Troop on guys, and remember: "You're either SWAT or you're not" Smally.
  8. Hi Sarah, I'm about to start your application. In the mean time, could you please supply us with a few pictures of the trooper youre emulating and used as reference? Thanks, Smally.
  9. To answer your title question, in a word, yes. However saying that, I dont think yours is too dirty as it is. If you are going to add darker layers do it sparingly and in small amounts.
  10. Hey all, Just to keep you in the loop, Since the server change we had a couple of months ago we have been having a few issues with the site. One of these issues is badging members' avatars when they have been cleared for PO and/or SWAT status. I will continue with the reviews as usual and once the issue has been sorted, I will revisit the applications and award those missing their badges. Like I say, the Command staff are aware of this and other issues with the new server and we are doing what we can to address is it. Thanks, Smally.
  11. That's the spirit mate! Looking forward to seeing the results soon!

I also need to point out the height of your belt. It is sitting slightly too high. Pull it down very slightly so tat it runs in line with the centre detailing box on the ab section. Neither of these two points will prevent you from PO status so worry not, they are just points to keep in mind. *RESULT ON ARMOUR* ** CHECKED & CLEARED ** III.) BACKPACK: a.) Details -- CHECK b..) Weathering -- CHECK ** Additional Comments ** Solid looking pack. *RESULT ON BACKPACK* ** CHECKED & CLEARED ** IV.) WEAPON(S): Bapty E11 a.) Details -- CHECK b..) It is clear that you have done your research into what makes a TD and you have carried it off well. This was an easy pass for PO as far as I am concerned, just keep in mind the two points I raised and you'll be good to go, Trooper! You have successfully followed the guidelines in regards to the MEPD CRL and have met the requirements. You can now march with the rest of the 'Dirty Bunch' down the halls of the Precinct. Your locker has been assigned and you are now ready to be placed on the roster among the other elite troopers. Your Profile link will be updated shortly. Also, please send the pic you want to use to Luis (Sandman Tigui) and we'll get you squared away. We will have your updated information uploaded into the MEPD system very soon. Congratulations on becoming a Deployed Officer of the MEPD! Now please report to the Mos Eisley Mess hall where you'll serve the troopers until the next newbie gets cleared Smally - MEPD Deployment Officer.

It is clear that you have done your research into what makes a TD and you have carried it off well.
