kf990
I was seeing if there was a way to fade the orange on my pauldron it's too bright
DirtyBoy
thats a great question.... have you tried using a lighter color weathering?
iron ram
Try leaving it in a window that gets full sun most of the day. It will take a few weeks. Or more but orange will fade

trooper1
You can take it to the tanning salon....maybe speed up the process LOL, I thought the tanning bed made you more orange..!!!! LOL It may be the type of vinyl as well. Is it a glossy patent orange, or ??? more of the correct flatter orange?
kf990
Its glossy orange
trooper1
Eh?? !! Being glossy orange means most likely it is a patent vinyl type material... Ouch! Lol Well I have found there is not much you can do to fade or get rid of the gloss, or color without just covering up. Maybe hair spray and a light tile grout dusting, or as I use, oil base paints dabbed all over wiped off all but a film, then dusted with grout. I have found this to work very well. kf990
I attacked it with a sander and that seemed to work
blueboxer
Next time, try spraying it with some Krylon Matte Finish... must easier and it dries very quickly!
